Several people have said many of the videos are theirs, and that they weren't using Pwnboxer. One of the top hits is Aelli 2200 Unstoppable, and Pwnboxer didn't even exist when he made the video.

Quite a few people from the other site are upset at this, and are assuming it is your doing; not sure on that, but thought you should get a heads up.

Thanks for the heads up Ualaa, and yes this is the first I've heard of it. The only videos I have put on Youtube, ever in my life, are under the Pwnboxer username. The last video I put up was probably a year ago, so I can assure you these aren't from me.

I agree, taking other people's videos and re-using them probably isn't the best way to go about doing things regardless of any intention. You should probably ask the people who made those videos. You might be surprised people might say yes if you link back to their youtube channel. This is know as link swapping on youtube, people do it a lot since it benefits both sides.

On an odd note, I've been asked about 4 billion times to start putting videos on Youtube, so I went and purchased a good video editing software and have been playing around with it a bit. I'll have some vids up sooner or later, probably when I do the new multiboxing group. Once I put those vids up, I'll probably put a disclaimer allowing anybody to yoink them and re-use them if they want, as long as it doesn't end up in pr0n.

EDIT: Here is my one and only Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/pwnboxer

A quick note about Pwnboxer's affiliate program. The program was created based my desire to reward those people who, out of their own good will and energetic lust for multiboxing, spread the word about multiboxing and their experience with Pwnboxer. I am going to pull this number out of the air, but I would say about 90% of all Pwnboxer users learn about it from word-of-mouth from other Pwnboxer users. Of that 90%, only a small amount is from an "affiliate".

I'm a dreamer, through and through, and part of my dream is to facilitate other people's dreams. I've heard it a great many times that people want to go "pro" with their gaming. As in, somehow be able to generate $$ by playing a video games. People create websites, blog about games, and slap up mindless advertisements for credit cards and mind numbing Evony advertisements, and polluting crap gold farming ads. Instead of that junk, they can put up a banner for Pwnboxer, something fun, legit, and actually much more financially viable than the prior methods mentioned.

Overall, I play games and have in turn created a business around that, and part of what I do is to empower other people with some tools and methods to do the same. To me, being a part of a community is more than just posting on a forum, or hosting a live video stream. For me, I like to create tools for people to use, forums for people to express themselves, methods for people to try their entrepreneurial hand at gaming, and basically to empower people in as many was as possible.

So yea, that is why the affiliate program exists, and I can clearly say that, based on the huge amount of feedback I get daily, from PMs, to forum posts, to people saying hello on my JTV stream, to emails, that the success of the affiliate program, and of Pwnboxer overall, is and has continued to be a smash success. I'm not talking about financial success, I'm talking about community success. Lots of people are better enjoying the game, lots of people are having more fun multiboxing, and lots of people are edging their way towards that "pro" status.

Pwnboxer's success isn't measured in dollars and cents, it is measured in its success by the amount of people made more happy by it's existence.
