Default Team binding setup pally+4shams

I'm trying to get all the little things out of the way before i start my team at the end of the month.

I'm doing a 1xtankadin 4x shammy team, and i'm trying to think through the macros and keybindings for all of this before i start and then i'll get to a point where i'm like "My best buttons are already being used" or "crap i've got no buttons left to bind to" - which happened with my priest. I know it's a little different with these classes, as they really don't have that many abilities, but i'm just trying to get it all figured out anyway.

My group is going to be leveling mostly through instances (i'm running the instances with this team - not getting boosted). Also, i like to use E, R and Q as spell bindings, they're just easy access buttons.

So, this is what i'm figuring:

1x Pally = Prot spec;
3x Shammy = Ele spec; and
1x Shammy = Resto spec (is this actually needed for the team? if so, at what level?)

Keep in mind, all abilities will have an assist focus at the start of their respective spell macros.

Pally binding setup:
Quote:
E - Judgement
S+E - Hammer of Justice
1 - Hand of Reckoning
S+1 - Exorcism
2 - Righteous Defence
G - Concecration
F1 - Castsequence Res on focus target
Ele Shammies binding setup:
Quote:
E - Lightning Bolt
Q - Shock
1 - Sheild
3 - Chain lightning
S+4 - /cast [target=tank] HEAL
S+5 - Heal self
F1 - Castsequence Res on focus target
F2 - Totems

Resto Shammy binding setup:
Quote:
Q - Shock
1 - Sheild
3 - Chain Lightning
4 - /cast [target=tank] HEAL
S+4 - /cast [target=tank] HEAL
5 - /cast [target=focustarget] HEAL
S+5 - Heal self
F1 - Castsequence Res on focus target
F2 - Totems

The 'Castsequence Res on focus target' thing i keep referring to is going to be something like this (i'll just use the word 'Res' as an all around res spell):

Code:
pally - /castsequence Res,,,,
sham1 - /castsequence ,Res,,,
sham2 - /castsequence ,,Res,,
sham3 - /castsequence ,,,Res,
sham4 - /castsequence ,,,,Res
Some of the bindings likge the G - concec for my pally might seem a little weird, but that's just something i'm used to. The S+4 and S+5 (S=Shift) heals are just backup heals.

So is my setup close to what some other people have, would this be okay for you if you set yours up like this? I'd love some new perspectives on this!

Lastly, if anyone else has the same team, i'd love to know your setup!

Thanks everyone!

currently doing the same team, however i use the 6969 rotation for my paladin.

6 second cd macro:
/castsequence Hammer of the Righteous, Shield of Righteousness

9 second cd macro:
/castsequence Holy Shield, Judgement of Wisdom, Consecration

69696969696969

thats #1 and #2 on my keyboard for my paladin.

on the 3 ele shamans #1 is lightning bolt, #2 is chain lightning, #3 flameshock.
#4 - chain heal, #5 fire nova, #6 - nuke cd button.(racials etc)
shift f - totems, shift g - recall totems

on the resto shammy,

shift 1, - LHW, shift 2 - HW, shift 3 - earthshield.

and thats about it.

Hey Snowy,

I run a paladin a moonkin and 3 ele shamans. There is no need for a healer. Use the healing stream totem glyph for a major also. From 3 I get about 1000hp per 2 sec just from that.

cntrl ~: focus
shidt ~: follow
~: assist focus

I do everything manually instead of spell macros. It is more efficient and fits the situation, but you can't be as lazy My only sequence is for trinket and bloodfury and troll berserking.

1: Avenger Shield, forst shock.

2: lightning bolt, hand of righteous wrath.

3: hammer of wrath and wind shock.

4: wrath, lava burst, judgement.

5: holy shield, stopcast lesser healing wave x3, druid nothing.

6: shield of righteous, chain light, starfire.

7: flame shock x3, insect swarm or moonfire, and hand of reckoning (use this to pull, pally gets aggro and shamans are setup for LB)

8: self heals for shamans

-: thunder storm, typhoon

=: consecrate, fire nova, starfire

I drop 3x totem of wrath with the bonus glyph, one of each enhancing type, and 3 healing stream unless dispells are required. I judge wisdom always unless it is a really hard encounter.

I open with 7 then 4 then 2 and then I spam 2,4 so LB is shot whenever off cd. 7,4 will annihilate any heroic mob i usually hit 6 next just in case to do some aoe. Since my paladin judgment is 4 he judgees and goes right into a 2 or a 6. If pulling from a long range (FS is 45 yards) I spam 7 until they are in range for pally taunt to hit and use exorcism into a judgement to hold aggro. I almost always click for my pally since many times you will want to use skills for them and not the shamans and there are not enough quick access keys on the keyboard.

Almost forgot:

u: chain heal to pally
shift u: chain heal to self.

with 3 shaman even this will just about full heal the group and the chain heal will not be wasted since they target themselves and not the same character.

Hope this helps!

I just re-read and notice you say 1x tankadin 4x pally team and I got real exited that somebody else was doing Pallies, but now I think you meant to say Shaman. Doh

Lmao, oops... i might fix that!

But i will be doing the same team as you when i get used to multiboxing. i.e. 1x DK and 4x Pally. I think it's a great idea and will work really well! Can't wait to try it

Make that team on the Kel`Thezud server for sure! I'll probably be creating a guild very soon for it!
