Tank/Heals - PUGs ftl

So as I've stated in another thread, I'm still 2boxing Tank/Heals. And about 75% of the time it is MEGA rewarding. There is the occasional group from PUGs that are jerks and don't CARE that you don't have Tier 19 gear and that you need to actually build up aggro.

"You suck, I can just pull 9kdps in 2 seconds... why can't you hold aggro????" heh.

Then of course, tonight, I get 2 BRAND new 80's [my fault I should really check peoples gear] and I'm like... why is it taking so long for stuff to die in (H)HoL.

Not really sure where I was going with this. I doubt most people here will care or understand as most will do 5x or more and won't have to worry about pugs.

Wish I could afford 3 more accounts.

It does force me to learn how to deal with others mistakes. Which I'm sure is only making me a better boxer.

Hey very interesting, so you're geared 80s and you tank and heal heroics yourself? How are you at healing the rest of your party? Since it is dualbox, do you main control both, or mostly 1 or the other?

I'd be really interested in seeing this work

I typically use Linux as my OS, and have "Sloppy" Focus turned on. Meaning, I can easily move my mouse back and forth and simply press a series of key combo's depending on what I'm doing. [WINDOWS USERS: Get TweakUI PowerToys if you want to have sloppy focus too!]

I thought about buying Pwnboxer (and have a copy of [the other stuff :P]) but I can't really see how it'd work in the long run with 2boxing[tank/heals], as I have to deal with unknown variables from PUGs.

What I've done is, create HUGE giant member icons on my healer. So I can easily move over and click.

Addons:: VuhDo(BIG ICONS TO CLICK); Quartz (GCD DISPLAY)

I think I had one person AFK most of the time too.

I can type about 80 words a min, and use TONS of keys fairly easily.

It's taken me over 80+ reg instances 70-80 and 26 heroics now to get to where I feel fairly comfy on (H)DTK,(H)GD,(H)HoL,(H)UK. I'm still not good on other (H)'s yet though.

You can name "the other stuff" here...this forum still has all its sanity....

Anyway...

Just got through with a failed attempt @ (H)VH. *sigh*

Then, did (H)Nex... and all 3 dps died[on first boss]... ran back, died, ran back and we finally finished off the boss. heh. They weren't smart enough to avoid whirlwind.

Finally... 2 people left, and we freakin' 3manned the 2nd boss on (H)Nex [the mages].

I tank/healed and my friend Maddys dps'ed (enh sham)

Tried to keep going, picked up a rogue, but he was tired and well... wasn't in best form and kept aggroing the pulls.

I can only do so much with failed PUG action.

tim posted about this before as when we frist setup the froums was getting spamed with the word there a post somewhere about it , anyway to the opp am a t9/t8 pally tank and about 90-95% off pugs in hc am 1st or 2nd on the dps yes as the tank! this sucks i feel like am doing them on my own sometimes lol the healer nerver really heals me priest would just reniew a few time so i try and make it more fun for them by tanking on a few more mods i been playing a tank fore 3 years i know how many i can take etc and 1, i get kicked for doing 2, the healer leaves with the work what a Fooking joke!!! am not here to work like this!!!!

so after all the pugs suck!!!!, so i gave up on the realm and moved to one where i used to play moved to be with RL friends but there nothing like what they are in RL! now am loved for doing in and i get told to pull more :P lol good times i get about 15-20 /w a hour asking me to do stuff etc and i love pugging but.... am still like 1st on dps half the times not as bad as some realms so it can be where u play but really that is so cool haveing your own healer i would love that as it can be such a pain to find a healer half the time as there allways in use with with a big friends list it still can take time its somethink i might try

a sharman healer could be a good choice chain heal?? and then use /target party1 /cast healing spell, /target party2 /cast healing spell, etc and like add them to mum pad 1,2,3,4,5 if u see a dps running low on hp then a fast click and it would heal that player then go back to focus as a tank is 90% the leader of the group u know that be party1 and then u just need to work out on alt what player is what taget sickey notes FTW comes in, yes am going to try this i think it could work
