| One quick question.. I have a paladin at level 23.. I want to do 3 paladins in total (for now).. Is recommended to use my actual paladin plus two new ones.. Or start all 3 from the beginning? I'm asking because maybe there is a benefit of doing one or the other one... and two, Which is the best way to use RAF...? A > B and B > C? or A to both? or it doesn't matter? Thanks! |

| with the "A > B and B > C" method, you can boost your 2 new toons with anything that is on Account A, and they will all get x3 xp when they are the same level. |

| I'm really confused by RAF mechanics. I thought triple XP isn't possible ![]() My setup is: A > B and A > C. And I had the same problem: toon A was 25, whilst toons B and C were new ones. When grouped together B and C were leveling painfully slowly until they equalized levels with toon A. Then double XP kicked in. But with setup: A > B and B > C ... = profit? Somebody got to draw some diagrams to visualize XP flow Last edited by BrickTop; 07-28-2009 at 01:09 AM. |

| Senior Member | The RAF gives Trip XP to the linked accounts/toons when they are together. So the problem you are having playing B & C together is that B didn't RAF C (A Did) so those two Accounts (B&C) are NOT RAF'd together and therefore get NONE of the benefits. You should have done: Account A sends a RAF to Account B Account B sends a RAF to Account C Then when you play B & C together you get your RAF benefits - such as the Trip XP. ALSO, you can use Account A to boost your B & C toons. You could grant levels from B to A AND from C to B. Hope that helps, yell if it doesnt. |

| Ahhh. That clarifies it a little. A > B and B > C makes sense for benefit distribution purposes. If B and C are playing without A, they would still get XP benefits. My setup A > B and A > C. But, it wouldn't make difference if I always group with A account. I'd still get same XP boost. As long as they're all together. I don't think there is a progressive XP reward multiplication when sub-reffering accounts. Max XP gain is 300%. Even if you RAF, get rested XP, and sub-RAF it's still going to be 300%. Here are blue posts from WoW official forums: Q: So if I used Recruit-a-Friend to invite someone and they used the code, upgraded their account and they used Recruit-a-Friend on another friend; if all three of us were grouped together, what happens to the experience gain? A: All three party members would receive a boosted experience gain, but only up to 300%. Q: What about rested experience, do I have the potential to get over 300% experience? A: No, the max experience gain is 300%. While you are grouped and in close proximity to a character on the linked account your rest experience bonus will not be applied. This means that if you decide to solo later any rest experience that you have acquired will still be available. http:// forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=8765628748&sid=1&pageNo=1#1 Dang, I'd love to be proven wrong, this kind of sucks. | ok.. I lied, my paly is level 27 right now.. so I have new questions.. I was reading the official RAF faq and I'm confused... If I create two new accounts where do I need to level to get the benefit of the 300% experience? If if we are killing mobs close to the veteran account (level 30), who gets the triple experience? the veteran account or the level 1 accounts? or everybody? and what happen if we are killing really low level mobs? who gets the triple experience? and third, all new account have to be active (no trial) to get the experience boost, right? Thanks. Last edited by CAPO; 07-29-2009 at 12:43 PM. |

| Senior Member | yes but not plauseable that way... i would just start up a New toon for "a" then just lvl them up ... so as a back up or just use main to get them there.... but as far as RAF i would keep A as the main and recruit from it

| and last question.. and I promise I will stop. To gain the extra experience, I have to upgrade/paid accounts B and C... no gaining in the trial versions, right? |

| Senior Member | incorrect. trial accounts get trip xp too. you just can't trade/mail/ginvite to trials. which sucks since they wont have enough bags or gold. |
