| after playing around for maybe 2 weeks (software, macros, classes, server, faction, # of accounts, etc.) i think i need to decide on my final 1 or 2 multiboxing teams this weekend. i got bored on limiting my team to only 1 or 2 classes, mix is more fun and challenging. playing a melee dps as master and tank as slave is interesting as well. i’m thinking of just picking my 5 favorite classes and just make it work despite lack of synergy and multiboxing friendliness. but the real reason i’m posting is that i wanted to ask why do we (multiboxers) get so much hate from other players. i’ve never got to 20 on the teams that i created so this might be true for the lowbie area only. i receive so much derrogatory tells that it’s hard to ignore, i just returned from wow after almost 2 yrs of break and my ignore list getting full before i can add a friend. i understand some people are not so open-minded that they think we’re cheating or something but i’ve encountered this attitude on all 4 servers that i played. P.S. is there a way to lock the dockable button in pwnboxer so it doesn’t get moved around accidentally? |

Ultimately, I just think people are ignorant/mean. Tearing someone else down makes them feel good. I either entertain myself debating with them or I move on. I don't use the ignore list (too short) and usually by the time you log in again, they're done bothering you. Nope. Nice feature request though. <--- (Tim Edit) Yup you can lock this, just click the lock button! Last edited by Tim; 06-18-2010 at 01:05 PM. Reason: Infoz! | |

| The primary reason why people hate is due to jealousy. This reason isn't just for World of Warcraft, but for the reason hate exists global to humanity. People hate things they cannot have and do not understand. Hate can be a powerful motivator to continue to do good and continue to build yourself up into something they can never have ![]() Yea, go into the configuration area for that particular box and click the LOCK setting. |

| Senior Member | Here's a thread on the official WoW forums discussing multiboxing, rules and semantics. It includes reference links and even has a blue response to the semantics questions. World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Multiboxing, rules, and semantics I credit Eatcarbs for linking this originally. Found it in one of his responses to another thread. |

I am with carbs on this one...its alot more fun to troll haters and trolls than it is to give in and ban/block them. When you ban trolls, they win.
