Snowy42 now has a stream channel! - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and Beyond!

Hi guys!

Through a long day yesterday playing around with settings in FME and VHScrCap and not getting the stream quite right. I was later suggested to try XSplit. All I can say is WOW!

With FME and my internet connection (1mbps upload - Aussie connections are nothing compared to america/canada) the best resolution I could get was a measly 480p and it looked terrible, granted I probably had a few things set up wrong, but things were un-readable on the screen, etc.

After installing and (finally) logging into Xsplit, it took all the hassle out of building up the stream, and (somehow) made it ridiculously easy to set everything up right.

So now, thanks to XSplit, I have a 720p stream that will be running every time I'm playing. I also play Minecraft a bit, so if anyone is interested I might stream that as well (not multiboxing :P).

Also I'd like to mention that none of this would have been possible without Xartin, he stepped me through most of this setup with some incredible patience. So thanks Xartin

As a side note: XSplit also seems to have a recording function, which seems to have a way of encoding that makes files TINY. By this I mean 10mins = 20mb... So depending on how much that kills my CPU, I might end up being able to get everything up on youtube as well. I was holding back on this because it'd take forever to render, and even longer to upload (30 min video took 5hrs to render and 10 hours to upload.... not worth it)

Made some major graphical updates to the stream, the page looks a lot better now!

Should be streaming in a few minutes, 3 boxing warrior/mage/warlock while my wife heals on druid. Should be good to watch, so please come on over and follow the channel. I'd really appreciate it

np brother, good luck with your stream. I know it toook me a while to adjust stuff, and yes on my end boxing 4 and 5 toons , makes huge difference, not sure why...
