| im totally new to multiboxing and im having trouble with my slaves constantly moving when i want them to cast, or that if the target moves behind them, unless i can pull it to their front they wont be able to cast on it anymore, is there a way i can cause them to stay on target without manually moving their line of sight, and is there a way i can cause all slaves to stop following during casting and continue afterwards? im willing to write a macro for each spell with a cast time, if there such a macro even exists(remember im a total noob here so go easy on me lol) also sorry if this is in the wrong section |

| Basically use auto follow, for the slaves. Go very wide of corners, especially in cities. In combat, you can have the slaves break follow and run in a bit, especially if you play a tank/melee toon. If you're all casters, then stay at range and cast once they're all in casting range. You can map turn left or right to just the slaves or to everyone, for fine adjustment. Also consider using Interact With Target (Keybindings - Targeting Functions). You'll need Click to Move - On (Interface - Mouse Options), for this to work. And probably have some movement key bound, as this will cause you to run at your target to melee it, and you'll want to break the movement asap so you get the facing.

| is there a macro i can use to cause them to interact with target, stop, and cast? so they they face target and immediatly cast? or would i have to manually do it by hitting interact, move back a step to stop, and cast? should i make an autohotkey of this if isnt macroable? |

| IWT is a keybind, you cannot put it into a macro. If your software supports steps, or whatever it calls them, where press 1 = action 1, press 2 = action 2, and press 3 = action 3... then you could do this with a multiple step mapped key/hotkey. There are three actions here. - Interact - Movement to break the running to the target - Casting. Only the casting is on the GCD, so you could spam the hotkey as quickly as you'd like for all three actions. That or go with multiple keys, and press them in sequence.

| You can put IWT in a macro for the most part, as in, you can enable it and disable it to move to the target with your IWT key. So in a way, it is an IWT macro, at least in that it accomplishes what the goal is ![]() I believe it is Code: /console autointeract 0 Code: /console autointeract 1 To disable and enable it. |

| That's for the Click to Move. Which is very close to IWT, in that IWT cannot cause movement unless CTM is enabled. But enabling/disabling the CTM, won't cause you to Interact with the target. Basically, if you were to IWT with a target (quest giver, animal on the ground, dead humanoid with a quest drop) that was already in range, that's all you would need to open the quest window, skin the animal or loot the quest item. If you have any kind of movement to reach the target, then CTM has to be active for IWT to be able to move your toon. But the IWT is still a keybind, which will have to be pushed whenever you want it.

| Another way to go about it (takes a few more keys) is to have move forward/backwards strafe left/right on separate keys (I use F9-F12) then I also have the cursor keys broadcast to the slaves when I use CTRL-<cursor key>. So when I hit F9 on my driver, it actually broadcasts down arrow on the slaves, etc. etc. The cursor keys just let me drive my slaves from my driver (normally I drive with AWSD, Strafe with QE) I run up to a pack of mobs, tap F9 (move backwards) which disengages follow... and charge in with tank. As long as you keep the target in your slaves frontal 180 arc, you're fine, if for whatever reason though you need to re-oriented, I hit F1 (which is my follow leader key in ISboxer) then tap F9 real fast, which gets them to quickly face the tank again... then continue nuking. I screwed around with a two step (Is-boxer) key setup, where I hit F2 the first time and they follow, then the second time I hit it they backup... didn't really like it.... cuz I'm such a spammer... I spam all my keys, it's like a side-effect of multiboxing and/or playing to much wow. |
