I seem to have been having trouble loading the site in the last 24 hours. Is this due to the changes coming up? It started last night, then still today, it would be loading, but load only part of the site. I would think it was me but it happened on my desktop and laptop. And most other sites I go to seem to load fine.

Hey Drar, Yup after spending a lot of hours figuring out what the heck is going on, I've isolated the issue to (gasp) the business service provider (Comcast) that I shovel money out by the truckloads to. I am working to get it resolved ASAP and will keep you posted.

Ahh I see. I use the infamous godaddy myself, and the wife was saying why don't we go to our internet provider instead, but I don't think they offer the types of tools and flexibility that godaddy and similar services offer. I could be wrong. And actually speaking of site stability, my own site was updated to a linux host and stripped the SSL certificate and so the HTTPS all over my site was causing lag too, ironicly cause I was told by the dude on the phone that it would speed up my service... which was why I put it there in the first place. The answer really was a linux host. Pays to have friends who know about hosting I tell you!

Godaddy isn't bad. Their prices are ridiculous, like, 5x more for domain hosting than other places. The only issue is that I have 100+ domains at godaddy and it would be a nightmare to move them. How does the site seem now, ok?

Cool cool. I just confirmed with 3 different sources it looks all good. I'll be checking a few more things, but all looks good. The start of the problems was early this morning (midnight ish) so it wasn't too long, but I hate any server issues. *shakes his fist at Comcast, err, Comcrap*

Yeah no kidding, from others I have played with in my past guilds, who have used comcast(crap) they've had DC issues durring raids, and vent, and I recall a few who've been on comcast. Yeah the site here seems more stable. Guess whatever wizard at comcast that they fished out of the closet seemed to know what he was doing.
