Default Should I add another 4gb of RAM?

I'm running 12gb ddr3, 1600, (my gpu is fine, i7 2600, everything is perfect) pretty sure i'm going to stick to 5x boxing teams, not more, in org at peak hours i see 6gig used on all 5 toons.

I could buy another stick 4gb, not sure if its worth it, since everything is smooth.

With 12GB allready, nothing you do with 5-boxing should be using all your memory.
As a matter of fact, i dont think any 'normal' gamer/streamer use would use it all.

So id say your fine hehe

The only advantage possible of more ram, would be to make a ramdisk.
Not sure how you go about doing that, but I know access time for ram is a lot faster than any harddrive, SSD or otherwise.

I have 12GB atm and rarely if ever have i used it all even when multiboxing. Only things I'm limited to doing with my current ram usage is running some decent virtual machines that are worth developing since 4GB really isn't enough memory to build a decent server lab in a few vm's.

Most of the time i'm using around 7GB of ram running one game and perhaps 5 firefox tabs.

despite that i'm upgrading to 24GB to max it out and finish my i7 900 system once and for all since i ordered the rest of my 2nd water cooling loop and a third monitor for xmas, new years and birthday lewts

0 chance you need 12GB of RAM.

I tested 5x WoWs all on Ultra settings, all using the new Pwnboxer 2.5 Game Switch settings which forces MAX CPU and MAX RAM to glean a few extra drops of performance. Using all of the above, 5x WoWs would peak consumption at 8GB, at least it does on my system. I have medium usage addons, but still, super fat addons max probably are 100MB.

Funny though, when I use the default Pwnboxer conservative methods, combined 5x WoWs (1x Ultra, 4x med low) consume a total of approx. 2.8GB (1.1GB for main, roughly 400mb for each alt).
