Default rift macro system

Messing around playing rift and starting to enjoy a bit more so i thought i would make a macro for my rogue buffs and they have changed the macro system so you can only cast one ability in a macro which is not very good.

Did a bit of looking around and found that in the early betas you could use more than one ability so they have indeed changed this which makes macros pretty useless for the most things and definatly if they dont change it i guess multiboxing would be next to impossible.

At the moment having not much experience an example of what you use to be able to do would be if i wanted to cast 2 Motifs ( Rogue Buffs ) you could use this as an example

Cast Motif of Focus
wait 1
cast Motif of Bravery

this would cast one after the other but now it says you can only cast one ability per macro.

this was changed in Beta 5

The only reason i can see for macros at this moment is for shoutouts during pvp and dungeons using the say command.

any rift players would be nice to hear your comments as well maybe you know something different to me

You used to be able to do the Rift equivalent of:
/cast [@FocusTarget] Big Nuke
/cast [mod:alt,@Focus] Heal
/cast [mod:ctrl,@Focus] Shield

Now there is only one cast/ability per macro.
So you need a lot more keybinds, with one bind per each action.
Not sure on the number of macros you can have.

Haven't really looked at Rift a whole lot, yet.

There are no addons for Rift yet.
But they did say, they are not opposed to supporting them at some point in the future.

The system requirements are quite a bit higher than for Warcraft.

Rift seems to be the top candidate to date, as a WoW replacement.

There is a lot of Rift beta activity on the other site.
