| Just want to find out about the experience with the other boxers in WOW. Since I have started, I have receive a few different reactions from other players. 1. The Surprised This group basically find boxers surprising and are amazed that we can control so many characters at once. They have never heard about boxing. 2. The Haters This group generally throw vulgar languages at, spit on boxers. They basically think boxers are spawn of Satan and should be banish to hell. They take every opportunity to report boxers. 3. The Interested This group basically is interested in finding out how boxing is being done. But many are put off by having to pay for additional WoW accounts. 4. The Knowledgeable This group knows about boxing, might have been a boxer once before. They might greet boxers and have some casual chat. 5. Everyone Else They basically don't give a hoots about other players. In a way, I feel like a X men in the movie... we have "powers" which the normal ppl fear or support... lol Last edited by alastoire; 06-27-2012 at 01:25 AM. |

| You are totally right here! Quote:
These people usually are really cool, very friendly, and VERY curious! I like to point them to my live stream and a lot of them end up turning into multiboxers themselves! Quote:

WoW seems to groom anti-social behavior. LFD runs can often occur without a single word spoken, even if the multiboxer is in there talking! | |||||

| I find it odd to talk to myself running my dungeons with the LFD tool. Would you consider me anti-social for not talking to myself, or crazy for answering my own questions? My wife will clearly choose the latter as she has heard me many times 'finessing' the bosses to die without too many RNG issues. |

| Haha, what I mean is LFDing with 3 guys as DPS, and then talking to the healer/tank that is randomly assigned ![]() But really, my favorite reason for playing WoW is to talk to streamers while I play. So even if I am five boxing, it becomes social through the stream views (and youtubers!). |

| Been looking at fourms and this caught my eye as i have personally been 1, 2 and 3. When i first saw or ran into a muiltiboxer in PVP i was one of the suprised thinking it was 5 people playing together. Then relised it was one person. By the end of that Bg and after a few more of the boxer just stomping us i became (#2 Hater). I was so upset at not being able to farm my honor i just reported him along with the rest of our side in those bgs and loged off for the day. After doing some research afew days later i became (#3 interested) once i read up on blue posts saying it was ok. At this point i had every class at max level and didnt want to risk losing my account if it was against the TOS. So here i am after taking a break from Wow ran into a boxer on a new server i started on cuz mine was dead and it sparked my intrest. hell i have 5 accounts already just not all active at one time. usally only 1-2 are active. so found this forum and have seen the videos before and should be learning how to get my boxing set up soon. then i hope to be (#4 The Knowledgeable) just hope to post my system specs and get some advice on how to set things up and hope my new pc can run smoothly. |
