|  Rated Battleground's in Cataclysm: Gear? Anybody else here looking VERY forward to rated battlegrounds in Cataclysm? I am, big time. Super big time. Arenas always felt like I was fighting inside a box, a predetermined shuffle of the dice that didn't really utilize creative gameplay as much as could potentially happen. Gear is the only reason why I would do arenas, but with rated BGs coming around the corner, does anybody know what type of gear this will offer? I searched around a bit but couldn't find any sources of info. If you know anything about Cataclysm Rated BG Gear, please spill the beans! |

| Re: Rated Battleground's in Cataclysm: Gear? Battlegrounds are turning into a rated system, like how Arena teams have a point rating. These ratings are then used to buy items like armor, weapons, etc. |

| Re: Rated Battleground's in Cataclysm: Gear? You'll have the option to run a battleground as a rated BG or as a normal BG. For the rated BG's, you'll have to enter as a premade with as many toons in the team as there are positions for your side in the given BG. Not sure on the rewards from BG's to Arena; they initially said it would be the same rewards for either. I've heard others say it will be like the raid system where you'll have a top reward for the most challenging content and a lesser reward for all other content. |

| Re: Rated Battleground's in Cataclysm: Gear? Everything I've seen suggests the premade. I wish it was just their original idea of the 10 best battlegrounds, out of all the battlegrounds you've queued for over the last week. |

| Re: Rated Battleground's in Cataclysm: Gear? The way i interpreted it, rated ones didn't have to be premades. But, certain guild-wide achievements are based on a % of a heroic / bg / whatever team are from same guild. Eitherway, I think most people will do them premade anyway because they want the shot at higher ratings. |
