| Senior Member | I've heard of this happening to a fair few multiboxers, but I've never seen a solution. It's happened with Pwnboxer and ISBoxer for me, so it's not the software's issue (unless they both have the same problem). The problem is that randomly (and I can never really pinpoint when it happens) the slaves will start running off in some random directions, you press follow and they run right past you and keep going, rinse&repeat. The only way I've figured of stopping them from doing it is to physically change to the other screens and stop them from running, then go and collect them all with my main. Sometimes while collecting it will start again. The most recent time this has happened to me, was last night when I was playing my 3 priests. It was a frantic battle in AB at stables and I was running around trying to get my priests facing the right way... then it started! They were running back and forth while i was trying to make sure they didn't run too far away (mashing the follow button). Luckily my team managed to kill the horde without any of my guys dying. By the end of the fight, my guys were still running back and forward while i was trying to get them under control. I switched to their games, stopped them, collected and everything was fine for the rest of the game. I JUST DONT GET IT!! Anyone have any reasoning why this happens? Or a way to quickly fix it? Thanks People

| Hey there, I did some research into this and determined the issue. Surprisingly, this issue can occur with 1x WoW as well, just nowhere near as often. The more WoWs you have, the more likely this can occur. To sum it up, tiny amounts of game client lag can cause the game to not recognize key state correctly (ie, holding down of a key and it never gets lifted). Basically theres nothing you can do to stop it from happening. HOWEVER, it is super easy to fix. What I do is this: My up key moves up, my down key moves down. The second I see this happening, just button mash those 2 keys for a split second. This causes the keystates to be re-polled and almost always corrects the issue. However, if your keystate is incorrect on your shift/ctrl/alt keys, button mash those. Personally, when I play 1x WoW, I found those keys have issues more than movement keys since I really don't use them often when I play. |

| For a while there, I was having my Shift key stick, but only for the client in Slot 4. I added Shift 1, as a hotkey to trigger my no-modifier 1 action. Not really a fix, for the Shift sticking, but a workaround as "1" is my spam key for that team, for my Howling Blast, Frost Strike, Necrotic Strike, Hungering Cold, Blood Strike "weighted" priority sequence. |

| The best way to stop this from happening (in pwnboxer) when it does is roll over your mouse cursor over ALL the game clients and that will reset the state too. But, I feel your frustration and unfortunately it is due to lag. |

| Senior Member | Best solution i've found so far. I've got a key (v) which makes my alts move forward one step. If they start going haywire like that then i just press 'v' and then my follow key again and all is fine and dandy! IDEA!!! Make the follow key make them run forward a step and then follow... not sure if this is doable, but if so... problem promptly fixed!

| That is a two step process, if you just hit follow they all come back which is a one step process surely thats better. |

| Senior Member | lol check back to my original post. when hitting the follow key, they run to me, and past again... they keep doing it no matter how many time i press follow. The only thing to fix it is to stop them from moving and then press follow.
