So yea I'm quiting playing WoW which includes stopping multiboxing. I really want to get some money back from what I've spent setting up accounts etc as I seriously doubt I will ever play the game again. However because I play on EU servers and accounts don't sell for much, I really dont want to let them go for cheap. I cant sell my 5 accounts separately as there under 1 battlenet. Any advice? Anyone have any experience selling a multiboxing setup?

Blizzard doesn't allow people to sell their accounts. Since it is ultimately a gameplay service of theirs (versus a physical game such as a console cart) it really is their choice to allow it. So you'd be better off honoring their request and don't sell your accounts.

So much time and money spent tho! The game is pretty much dead now for me, so bored of it. Would seem like a waste to just let the accounts sit there doing nothing. But ya I understand your not supposed or allowed to sell accounts. Catch 22 I guess ![]() Thanks for your reply mate.

Keep the accounts. Sometimes after a few months or so, the urge to play returns and you'll have your accounts, characters, items, etc ready to go. If not, then it isn't money and time wasted. After all, if you spent all that money and all that time, you must have gotten a lot of fun out of it. You don't get your money back at the theater just because the movie finished.

I'll recommend keeping them too. You can go back to the game in a year or two, if you decide you want to. To sell them, you'd essentially have to sell your battle.net email, and everything that is attached to that. Pretty hard to find a buyer for that, as you can very easily get it all back by proving you are who you are (probably via a drivers license signed at a notary public and faxed into Blizzard), and whoever bought it was an imposter who somehow stole your info... even if you decide to get back into that game four years from now. About the only way to buy an account and keep it, is if they're not merged onto a battle.net email yet. As the name on the warcraft-account doesn't have to match the name on the battle.net -account.
