Default Quick Question about RAF

I have one question regarding RAF: do I create the 5 accounts first and then do the RAF, or do I do RAF first and then create the 5 accounts?

Thanks

I am going to do it a bit differently:
A - B
B - C
C - D
D - E

You can't RAF an existing account, so use your RAF and then create your accounts with the game code's sent.

Sorry, I meant to say I am creating 5 new accounts. Apply my initial question to this clarification.

1. Buy copy of WoW (and at least BC if you want Dranei/Blood Elves as well as access to Shatrath for quick travel)

2. Create the account (and upgrade it with xpac) with key(s). This will be "A".

3. Send an RAF invite to your own email address (you can find the RAF area in the account admin area)

4. Use the key in the RAF email to create account "B".

5. Upgrade this account to BC (for the same reasons as above if you wish).

6. Goto step 3 and repeat with B (and then C, D, and E).

Note: Each new "RAF" invite needs to come from whichever account was newly created.

This allows for a A->B->C->D->E chain.

I prefer this, but some people like sending 4 invites from "A" and doing a chain like:

A->B
A->C
A->D
A->E

but I prefer the 1st method as accounts A-D get free levels from their sub-accounts instead of "A" getting all of the levels.

If I dont create an account via the battlenet, the custom name I am given for RAF is WOW1 and WOW2, should I continue doing this until I have WOW3,4,5 or create individual accounts with names I like?

The important part is...

From an existing account's account management page.
Send the RAF invite.
Use the RAF invite to create an account.
Then upgrade with a retail version.

Repeat as desired, depending on the RAF chain you want to end up with.
Use either account, to send an RAF invite.
Use that RAF invite to create account 3.
Upgrade the account with the retail copy.
Etc.

Once everything is created, you'll need them to be on a Battle.Net account to play WoW.
I would strongly consider five B.Net accounts, with one wow account on each battle.net account.
The reason for this, is you can then log into the game with a single authenticator, entering the code into all five windows simultaneously.
If you were to put all 5 accounts onto a single B.Net, you'd have a 30 second wait between each log in, which is a pain in the butt.
You'll definitely want an authenticator; they're $6.50 and much less hassle then going through account restoration procedures in the event that you get hacked.

Sadly they made the change to authenticators after I had my 1st round of RAF setup... such a pain to login to all my accounts now!! =(

On the other site, people who have been polite in their calls, have managed to convince customer service to move their accounts both to a single B.Net and from one B.Net to several.

Customer Service will sometimes say its not possible to do, but this is bull, because if you hang up and call back immediately, a different person will say sure.

In the end, it doesn't make much difference on their end. There is still a B.Net account, and one person still owns all of the sub-accounts etc. As long as you are happy, you're likely to continue to give them money which ultimately keeps them employed.
