Question for Tim on RAF - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and Beyond!

ok tim so when you run different teams and new teams. do you always use the RAF feature?
for instance ive got two accounts i pay for and im thinking of running two toons. ive already used the RAF once on one account to bring another account into the game. can i still use this feature or do i need to buy more copies of the game or what?

Once your RAF expires, you will need a new account if you want to RAF.

Basically you had A, and linked to B.
A > B.

Now you have A & B.
You can RAF from either of these to a new account, and repeat the same process...
X > C.
And even use the other account to "boost" with if you want.

You can also go:
A > C
B > E
Either both at once, or one and then the other.
Create your new toon (keeper toon) on say B, group with a same race/class toon on E.
Boost with A.
Do an even number of toons if possible.
Say you RAF up two toons on BE.
The "B" account is a "keeper".
So you have two toons on BE, and E can grant one more toon to B.
That's three toons on B (or six toons, if you boost four instead of two).
Then once the RAF is done, discard account E.
Having paid for it for month #1, you get a free month on the referring account... so it hasn't cost you anything extra in subscriptions.
If you pay for a second month, than a character on the keeper account also gets the RAF mount.

If you want to move up to five boxing, boost with the best booster on A or B.
That account is the one in the chain with three accounts, the non-booster account is in the chain with two accounts.
A > C > D
B > E
Then group ABCDE together and boost away.

If you're thinking of starting on a new server, with RAF and a bunch of teams...
Transfer wealth/heirlooms/etc with one toon (the booster) to a new server, and RAF four new accounts to that one.
A > B > C
A > D > E

You also have the option of account character transfers.
Really, there are a lot of options and they all boil down to... Cost vs Time.

i kinda knew how the RAF thing worked ive got two raf mounts on one account. you gave me a very nice rundown on the RAF feature. thanks a ton

does tim always use the RAF feature? or does he just continue running the same 3 or 4accounts?
