Default Question about Total Cost

Tim, I found your site and can't stop watching! I have spent the last three days watching a lot and I just have a question. I already have two accounts for WoW but I stopped playing in February. To do this right I will need 5 new accounts to get the sweet xp bonus for refer a friend, so my question is how much total was it for you to get the 5 accounts to full status after your initial trial account.

Thanks in advance and I am hooked!

Upgrading 5 World of Warcraft accounts to classic:

$19.99 x 5 = $99.95

Upgrading 5 World of Warcraft accounts to TBC:

$29.99 x 5 = $149.75

Upgrading 5 World of Warcraft accounts to WoTLK:

$39.99 x 5 = $199.95

Total: $449.65 along with RaF benefits.

Awesome. Thank you much. You would think they would start to offer some bundles with at least TBC included at a lower cost but..I guess why do that if you can still get a good price not including it huh. So you could make due spreading out your cost by just buying classic first then getting TBC when you get close to 60..or do you have to get all three, Classic, TBC and WK to get full RaF benefits?

Well, you can buy the WoW Battle Chest:

Blizzard Store

Which includes WoW and WoW: TBC together for $39.99.

Pretty sure you only need to buy classic to get RAF benefits. Also, funny enough at Walmart, buying classic and BC seperately was cheaper than the battle chest.

Awesome! Good tip about Wal-Mart, was it a special sale or normal price?

Add on

$18.95 per year for Pwnboxer
Plus 15 a month times 5 ($75 bucks a month) for the accounts.

It comes out to $918.95 per year to 5 box, with $399.90 in one time costs to get 5 fully upgraded accounts the cheapest way.

Whatever you do, do not tell the wife the final cost.

I didn't notice a sale sign, but when I went to pay it was around 32$ not $39.

On the walmart website prices are higher than what I paid, though WotLK is cheaper than most places... Barely more than BC.

Walmart.com: World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (PC-DVD): GAMES

Thank you for the kind words err uh... Fattness

By the way, Gamestop frequently has sales on Burning Crusade Battlechest which will often be $19.99 for WoW classic + Burning Crusade. Quite a deal
