Default Question about Dungeons

Ok, so I've been running my first 85x5 team into some regular randoms, and I've noticed that my healing shaman runs low on mana halfway through a boss fight. I have heard similar complaints from a guildie who plays a resto shaman as a main, and he's quite annoyed that he experiences this same issue while going solo in raids and dungeons. Is there a way around this or is it something that we have to wait for a patch for cause bliz still has to work out the balance issues?

Well when my mage would run tons of LFD heroics, I noticed a lot of healers having tons of mana left over.

I think it really comes down to the tank. If the tank is geared right then it is a massive savings for the healer.

Are you using the mana efficient bigger heals mostly, or the quicker but way more mana per health healed emergency heals?
Earthshield and Riptide are very efficient heals.

Beyond that, it is a gearing issue too.
Both for the tank (who dictates how much healing will be needed) and for the healer (who needs a balance of mana, spell power and spell regen).

You could spec a toon, or substitute a toon into the team...
So you have Replenishment.
That will help a little.

If you have a bit of gold lying around.
The auction house will have BoE items that might be upgrades.
Which can get you geared a bit more, making heroics easier.

Once you can beat a bunch of them, it snowballs... rewards will improve for the same difficulty, as raid tiers are released.
Not to mention, Blizzard has a tendency to nerf previous heroics/raids as newer content is released.

Overall, its what Uulaa said.

Healers tend to scale very harshly with gear atm.
Full 333 = oom-madness
Full 346 = reasonable regen
Full 359 = endless mana unless ur TRYING to go oom
