Pwnboxer Wish List - Let me know!

Hey all,

I'm deep in working on an extremely large, huge, absolutely fantastic groundbreaking additions to Pwnboxer, for what will be our largest update since the software was originally released.

While I work on some of these awesomesauce things, I'd like to open up the doors to all of you to recommend some ideas that you'd like to see implemented into Pwnboxer.

Do you have any ideas on things you'd like to be added? List them here! Describe them in as much detail as possible. Even include screenshots/diagrams/whatever you can to best get the point across.

Example:

Summary: Add picture-in-picture ability
Description: I'd love to be able to full screen 1 WoW window, but sticky on top another WoW window, for a picture-in-picture affect.
Interface Idea: Maybe add a right click option in Pwnboxer to Game 2-10 window, and enable it to be "stuck on top" of the Game 1 window.

Summary: Minimize All/Some WoW Windows
Description: I'd love to be able to minimize some or all of the WoW windows (and of course, restore) to get to my desktop quickly.
Interface Idea: Add a keybinding to toggle between minimizing and restoring a window. For completeness, even adding right-click support in PwnBoxer to include a menu item to do the same.

Summary: Keybind to bring PwnBoxer to front
Description: Add functionality, that when a pre-defined keystroke is pressed, PwnBoxer is made the topmost window.
Interface Idea: Add support for setting the keybinding, option to center PwnBoxer on the screen, and an option to move PwnBoxer to the monitor that was active when the keybind was pressed.

Summary: Multi Computer Support
Description: Have pwnboxer communicate what keypresses to send to other copies of pwnboxer running on other machines in the network.
Interface Idea: probably a button that opens an options window, with stuff like IP, port, options to run the pwnboxer as a server or a client, or even passwords!

Summary: Various Video Encoding Stuffs
Description:I know youre looking into building in encoding and i have a few suggestions/requests
Interface Idea:

Audio Encoding: DON'T make it only grab the audio of the programs in the game, then push that audio to your speakers. An option with various choices of doing it that way AND/OR pulling X audio device, for those of us who have mixers may wish to mix the audio on their own end to get proper sound before pushing it to the cast to avoid any latency that may happen with slow processing speeds. And the ability to Add your own inputs for line-ins as well as mics.

Video Encoding: The ability to choose a Misc. source, so as to be able to put say video from another capture card or web cam or external screen cap program...this allows true versatility in casting with many other options. I know this seems to be pushing its way into the video encoding programs and not a multiboxing program, however I still request this option partially cause I like to listen to music while I game and cast and like to have it on screen and would like to be able to cap that to the stream, I also like to be on cam when I cast occasionally, and finally so EVERYTHING you need is in one program, and pwnboxer Isn't JUST exporting as a video device that you will then in turn have to run through another program to add these features to then push the desired video to the cast. This will be super sexy.

PS if I rambled incoherently there, let me know and I will clear it up some...

Summary: A way to use pwnboxer in raid instances with dynamic movements as in polarity shift, safety dance etc. This is the one thing that could revolutionize this program and set it a part from all of the rest. I do not have even an inkling of an idea on how to do it but it must be possible.

Summary: Option to now to show the MOTD at startup.
Description: Get in, get started. Maybe if there is something new since the last time you launched, then show it. Otherwise, if there's nothing new, there's no reason to really show this every time I launch.
Interface Idea: Stick it in an Options dialog to toggle. Probably have a checkbox on the MOTD popup to show at startup or not.

Summary: Have PwnBoxer remember it's window position at startup.
Description: Every time I launch PwnBoxer, it starts at the center of Monitor 1 and I move it either to the lower right or Monitor 2 somewhere. Have PwnBoxer remember where it was when you last closed it.
Interface Idea: Probably doesn't need any interface. Worst case, stick it in an Options dialog.

Summary: Support for WoW account selection
Description: For those with multiple WoW accounts linked to the same Battle.Net account, the option to specify the default WoW account for each game would be nice.
Interface Idea: Add this to the "Configure Game Settings" dialog, under the "Autofill this username". Probably just call it "Choose this WoW account". You would probably want this on a checkbox toggle since not all users would have this available when they log in (if they only have 1 WoW account linked to their Battle.Net account).
