Hi Multiboxers, since nothing seems to work i humbly request your assistence in a streaming problem. Hereīs the deal: I try to stream to justin.tv via FME. Everything with video works perfectly, very good quality and i can stream all games that allow windowed mode with no lag. The only problem i have is the sound. I canīt get it to work that FME streams me talking into my mic, windows sounds and the game sounds at the same time. I use a Creative SB X-Fi Soundcard. After reading many FAQīs and forums i come to the conclusion that this sound card is not capable of using "What you hear" and the Microphone at the same time. I only can stream one or the other at the moment. The audio creation mode on my soundcard driver programm lets me pick only one device for recording. "What you hear", as i meantiond above will stream all PC and Game sounds, "Microphone" the mic. Line in does not work at all. It stands as "Not avalible" in the windows settings and FME bringt an error message when i try to pick it. I tryd Virtual Audio Cable, it works but the game sound is about 1.5 seconds delayd because i need to open 3 Audio repeater to get it to work. The game itself lags aswell with it. Are you aware of ANY solution to this problem, maybe not to expensive hardware mixer that work? Thanks alot, if you need more information just ask. Last edited by aLDigital; 06-16-2011 at 11:37 AM.

Check the FME thread above, it shows about using Stereo Mix.

Sorry that dosnīt work Tim. You are assuming that the soundcard is capable of using "What you Hear" or "Stereo Mix" at the same time as the microphone. I succesfuly got a workaround to this problem. But you need 2 soundcards to do it. I got a Creative SB X-Fi and an onboard AMD HD soundcard. Hope its usefull for some:

You can do Stereo Mix / What U Hear with Soundblaster cards. You just have to download the driver with that capability not removed. The only reason default drivers don't have it is because the RIAA/MPAA pressured it to be removed (bull****). I've used it myself on my other gaming system which has the Soundlbaster XFI or something like that. But also, you don't need 2 soundcards if you don't want to do that anyway. Simply do this: Sound card -> Line Out -> 3+ Channel Audio Mixer 3+ Channel Audio Mixer (1x channel microphone, 2x channel left speaker, 3x channel right speaker) -> Line In Then simply set FME to use Line In. Now your sound setup is super high quality, has awesome microphone, has knobs you can tweak for sound quality and volume levels, and you can control individual application volume levels (eg, have Skype louder than WoW), no need for crappy VirtualAudioCable software. POOF - Now you have a sound setup just line mine!

Where is your guide for this, I have a USB headset and my computer sounds don't come through, I saw Xartin post in the exact way to stream thread about VAC (Virtual Audio Cable) so i'm toying with that, but I'll read all I can till I know all I can know about it.
