| Senior Member | alright alright - heres my cluster**** of a workspace =) I love my glass desk. Makes me clean it more often than a regular desk did... and believe me, it gets dirty quick. Left side of my workspace. Yes, that is a can of MD Voltage. Yes, that is an air conditioner and window right next to me. Yes, in the mornings, I get hit with sunlight to the face. ![]() The right side of said workspace. Yes, that is my jewelry box on the top part of the desk. And yes, that is an Aastra 480i CT IP phone. Yes, that is my PS2 there, connected to the server via a Hauppauge 350 PVR - but to the output s-video because I suck at reading. Oh, and yes, that is a Dell D820 laptop. A gift as part of my severance package from Jingle Networks when they laid off 30% of us. *sigh* ![]() My Gateway FX-4710 - this is my casting and gaming machine for now. It was really really good when I got it, but it is now about 5 or 6 generations older than that, putting it at *gasp* below average! ![]() MUST HAVE AIRFLOW! ![]() The fan is there (and it is on in that picture) because the server, which runs DNS, IIS, BlackBerry Server, Exchange, and alot more, likes to expunge heat alot. And under the desk, there is almost no airflow. So I put the fan between the Windows machine (left) and my Linux gateway/firewall/fileserver (right). Now I have airflow =) |

| Apologies for the mess - it's usually a lot worse than this but I had a clear out recently! Only dual boxing at the moment as I don't have enough money for more. When I'm not dual boxing I have WoW/Movie/TV Show/Other game etc. on the TV and then usually browsing the internet on the other (which means I can watch Tim's stream while playing WoW in big). I also put the stream on my huge screen at night sometimes to watch in bed if I'm extra lazy. Apologies for the huge picture. ![]() 37" Toshiba Regza 1080p TV, monitor is 19". My PC is hidden behind my TV.
