| Just curious, do you guys think multiboxing softwares should have a trial period? Could you guys lay out the pros and cons of what you are thinking? As far as Pwnboxer goes, I never did a trial simply because of all the things that need to be worked on, the trial seems not quite so important. Nobody has to date gotten Pwnboxer and asked for a refund due to it sucking, so I think we are on the right course *crosses fingers* ![]() However, in the interest of the brand new multiboxer, because Blizzard allows free trials, I think it would help out the newbie person with a free multiboxing software trial as well, giving them the full opportunity to experience things for free before deciding to dive in. So what are your thoughts, multiboxing software trials a plus, or a waste of time for the software developers? |

| Senior Member | It seems to me that on the front end, with the software, you really wouldnt need to do much to get the trial set up. With this licensing system, i do believe most of the dev would be on the back end. Unless I completely misunderstand your license system. When it comes to software though, things that have trials tend to get purchased more, especially on something that isn't TECHNICALLY mainstream software. For instance, if you stumble upon unfamiliar sites, arn't you always wary of dropping money on something that potentially solves your problem, w/o MUCH research. and free trials, always help me with that.

| Pros: - Let those with not alot of income be introduced to PwnBoxer and Multiboxing - More potential clients ![]() - More people will know about multiboxing (Increase the Multiboxing community) Cons: - Multiboxing goldsellers ?- Perhaps a flood of silly questions on the forums I think you should set a trial since the whole community of multiboxing is "fairly" small and this might be the right way to let people know what multiboxing is and how awesome it is. |

| Most seem to offer either a short trial, ranging from 24 hours to one week. Or they offer a money back guarantee, for a period of a week or two. You don't necessarily get all the features during a trial, but since the trial should sell the product, its generally a good idea to have everything unlocked. IS Boxer offers a 7 day trial, and a two week money back guarantee, but if there's a patch to the program, trial subscriptions have lower priority to download over the regular subscribers. I believe Keyclone offers a 24 hour trial, not sure on the guarantee. It doesn't hurt to have a New Users/Support forum. You can go with sticky's, which answer most of the common questions; not sure that people will read them, as most don't on the other site. I don't really see a gold seller as someone who will use a multiboxing software. 90% (just picking a number, I have no empiracal data) of the sites, concentrate on keyloggers and stealing the gold from the player base, then use the stolen account to advertise with, until it is banned. |

| I agree, I don't think a gold seller would use Pwnboxer. After all, gold sellers have their own multi-clienting cheat/hax programs. Mooter brings up a really good point: Quote:
So far everybody is voting YES and and I really like the concept of how we can introduce new people to multiboxing with ZERO costs to see if they are interested. I think I might go ahead with a trial. It might be a week or 2, or maybe I'll write it all at a star bucks. Who knows! | |

| I think you should offer a trial, you may get some sales from people who already have different multiboxing software. For example, I already have Keyclone, but after watching your stream I'm really interested in Pwnboxer. A trial would let me test it out and see if I want to take the plunge. I'd say you wouldn't need to offer it for more than a couple of days, enough time to set it up and then do a few runs with it. |

| Yes I think so Just don't do it like ISBoxer's setup. I ended up with pwnboxer although I thought ISBoxer was better from my research because of their trial setup. I never actually even tried it, I was too impatient to wait for the go ahead. Between being pissed at the way they phrased their explanation for having to wait for approval to try it and my mind being frazzled from researching multiboxing software to where it looked to me at the time like I had to buy two products(isboxer and inner space, I just knew isboxer, what this "inner space" and "lavish software" was I didn't friggin care..."I just wanna try isboxer damn it!") I just threw up my middle fingers and had pwnboxer running 10 minutes later Trials are really to catch people on the edge, making them wait to try something is NOT NOT NOT a good idea. They will just move on...like I did. You want it to be finger snap quick for people to try your product. Devise another method to protect yourself from people gaming the system with repeated trials. |

| Well guys, 14 people saying yes, 0 people saying no. I think the trial is going to happen. I will most likely start out with a short trial, maybe 24 hours, but it is something I'm going to be working on |
