At the moment Pwnboxer will not work with Rift. It will only launch one copy and that's it.

I'm guessing that it's the way Rift saves. You can only save Rift in one location, and each time you sign in another account (although you can run multiple accounts from one launcher) that ones settings automatically overwrites whatever your last config was.. causing crashes.

I emailed Trion who said they have no plan to change it - they allow multiple accounts to run from one launcher & that there is no point having multiple copies of Rift as it always saves in the same location, but the settings will always be overwritten.

So far I have gotten Keyclone to work but it does crash.. so we need virtual save files for the settings/sign in info per copy. I know Isboxer does this, but I'm not wanting to use that as it's too much hassle for what I need.

Also although you can launch more than one account from one Rift launcher there needs to be a delay.. it will only allow you to sign into another account after you have signed into the first. Unlike WoW that allows lots of launchers to open at once.

I haven't played rift, but I know people successfully multibox it, and I think the majority of them do use ISBoxer. I know theres an option to trick the window into thinking its in fullscreen mode, so I wonder if thats part of the solution? Perhaps PWNBoxer can utilize an option like this to run Rift in multiple instances.

I know we are looking into it right now, it looks like RIFT and LOTRO do things sort of the same way.

If this has to do with the requirement of focus on the window for broadcasting (like in lotro), this is something i am working on for the next build of pwnboxer along with some other changes.
