| Hey guys and gals, Some of you have been on our site since the very beginning just a few short months ago. We started out essentially as a direct link to the live Justin.tv/multiboxing video stream. Then we progressed into a forum community, helping people get multiboxing for the very first time, and sharing our adventures as we multibox ourselves. Then as of about a week ago, we launched the multiboxing.com website, a place for people to have their stories highlighted, to read news relating to multiboxing in all sorts of ways, and to learn through guides and videos. The initial multiboxing.tv forum website was launched in early July and yet right away it took off. The first couple months alone logged nearly half a million pages viewed. For a brand new website and community, those types of numbers are rare indeed. While a great many people who visit our community participate in our forum discussions, an extremely vast number of people use the website as a resource for learning. I am literally looking at the statistics now and it is amazing how many people read things such as EatCarb37's strategies, or Kylol's adventures. The things we discuss, the guides we author, the videos we create, these things are making our website fast become the resource for multiboxing. Our contributions don't just stop with helping gamers. I've also been contacted by gaming developers to discuss multiboxing topics for their own games, and these conversations could have some very interesting developments indeed. I am also very proud that our community is very welcoming to both new members and veterans alike. The respect that we give others is constantly being returned in kind, and this positive attitude all around is key to the facilitation of the transfer of knowledge from experienced people of our community to those getting involved for the first time. In the past week, our community has had its website traffic almost double. I'm still amazed as I stare at the numbers, but I realize my amazement shouldn't be realized by me alone, but each and every one of you who contribute should also share in this, because you guys, not me, are what make this community a community. So thumbs up to all - great job! Tim |
