| Hey guys and gals. First off I have been playing wow since just before BC came out, but only one toon at a time. I now have 3x 80s (Warrior, Rogue and DK), with a Druid and a Priest in the mid-70s. So now I am looking for a Shaman and a Hunter and thought they would make a good team to multi-box with. At this point I am only looking to do two toons at the same time. So first off, what do you guys think about doing that combo? Second, are there any recommendations on macros or combinations that would be good to use? In the past I usually have a rotation that I use on a hunter, with the exception of situation where certain spells/abilities take precedence over other spells/abilities. Also what I have seen so far (still in the noob area) is that I can steam roll most mobs with the minimal amount of work. My only stumbling point at this point is the looting and quest turn in/pick up. I know that it's just awkward for me right now and will get easier as I go. Just to clarify what I am looking for is advice on this specific combo. Such as Try this rotation or that one. Or, "Are you insane?!?! That combo sux.". Or if you prefer you can always admire me in your post and talk about my genius. ![]() Thanks. Mods/Programs: PwnBoxer (Tim this rocks) Jamba Dominos PitBull (others that really have no bearing on multiboxing) System Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Intel Core2 Duo E8400 @3.00Ghz OC'd to 3.66 4GB ram ATI Radeon HD 4870 Big Water cooling system (on CPU and GPU) G11 Keyboard 2x 20" Monitors N52te controller |

| Hey there and welcome to the site! So if you are going to do 2 people at the same time, and want an insanely powerful group, I would go with 1x Priest 1x Hunter. The reason is because the Hunter can give you a very powerful tank with some really great DPS in the pet + Hunter, and the Priest can spec Disc and hand out DPS + Heals at the same time. While the pet is tanking the Hunter + Priest could DPS effectively as ranged classes, and when it comes down to multiboxing, ranged is by far the easiest. Also, you could main control the Priest and then use some clever yet easy macros to make the Priest feel like he is actually controlling the hunter pet, giving you some easy ways to heal + DPS + tank on the Priest. The hunter could have a macro like: Quote:
Then you could create the hunter DPS skills/macros to be bound to the same keystrokes that the priest uses to DPS and heal which effectively makes your hunter faceroll across the keyboard yet would still allow your Priest to be effective in both healing and DPS. All in all, I think this would be the most powerful group, capable of clearing out potentially a large number of WOTLK instances 2man style. | |
