New Teams

I just got my prot pally and shaman team to 60 and ran 1/2 way through the Ramparts to the dragon dude and died. Gear is predominately classic with a few items from BC. It is a good team, but getting gear will make it better.

I also will run my pally (holy) and 4 DK through the instances, and like Tim, I am excited and ready to run them through BC, WoTLK and Cat. Gear seems to be the minor bump in the road for them as well, but all in all its going to be fun.

Maybe soon Tim, your pally + DK and my pally + DK can run some 10 man raids and maybe get other guildies to run with us in 25 man raid.

Broomba, hell yea, want to start with Kara?

What level is your team right now at this very moment?

I believe I am 4x DK 64, 1x Pally 74.

Want to try Kara when we get both our DKs to 70s? Raids give XP now, pretty decent amounts, which is new to me actually.

My pally is 60, my 4 shamans are 60 and my 4 dk just turned 61 last night. Since my spring break is over its back to my regular school schedule. Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun free while Monday evenings teaching, Tues and Thur teaching all days.
Wed I will be doing the beginning quests on my dk to get them some BC gear and then head back into Ramparts.
I want to level both pally with DK and Shamans together so I will toggle back and forth between the teams.

If you want to cheese the encounter, the Shammies can nuke him in the air on each pass... prior to engaging the last two of the orcs which starts the event.

It will be several passes, but you'll basically do the orc pair, then tank the rider, and one-shot the dragon when it lands.

Kara is very fun, and being a couple expansions back rather easy.
If you can find the people, I'd suggest running it at 60th or so, as that would be the most fun/challenge, and it was one of the best instance/raids Blizzard has ever put out.
