New MB server is online!!! - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and Beyond!

Hey guys,

Yup, I just swapped hardware yet again, this time to a dual xeon 8 GB ram server, WAY WAY overkill for the MB/SC site, by a factor of about 20

So please give me feedback on how the server is loading for you guys, it should be uber fast.

I might tweak things over the next 2 days, but that should only take a few minutes here and there.

The last couple of days, posting has been noticeably slow. Now, posts are lightning fast! Definitely noticing the upgrade here.

Yeah I noticed the same thing, I would click post and it would just hang. I would wait, press back on Chrome and it posted anyway. As Poy said, lightning fast now.

Whoot awesome now!

Unfortunately the air conditioning fan in my house broke, it is hot as holy crap in here, not sure if I can handle working on anything computer related until its fixed ;p

I believe she is talking about the custom Blog hosting you talked about implementing awhile back... so we could have things like "ebony.multiboxing.com".

Oh yup, actually I worked on this and even finished it and it was really good. But then there was a huge security bug with Wordpress MU, which it was largely based on, and I had to suspend it.

I really want to do this in the future, but its all about time, and for now, its the SC2 site and an upcoming release of Pwnboxer with a bunch of bug fixes and a big huge performance enhancement I've been working on.
