"wowguid.es" the domain, was thinking of doing some wow guides on it (obviously..) but now I can't think of any guide to actually post.

Also, should it be a forum or a CMS like WordPress? Or totally custom made?

I was skeptical about wordpress at first until i started helping a friend that used it for a high traffic website. Definitely worth checking out wordpress or drupal cms. drupal is actually used to manage whitehouse.gov

you can use a cms (wordpress or drupal) for your website and perhaps phpBB for a forums

I would use wordpress for sure, it can handle traffic realistically far in excess of what you would actually get.

Maybe use the domain to post up a review for level85guides.com ?

Hmm yeah, was thinking about that!
I'll stick with WordPress, since I know how to manage that, and got some special plugins for it to make it even easier.
Tho I'll try out myBB this time, never been happy with phpBB.

Hmm, maybe. I don't own the guide myself tho, and limited economy as of right now..

I mean build a review site. Essentially write about WoW, the guide, and promote it as an affiliate. That is what people are doing these days to help raise funds for themselves to play WoW/etc.

I think you should check out these 2 URLs:

Essentially you would take your website and build it up with news, reviews, etc., and then put banners/links to promote the 2 sites above, you would make nice nice $$.

Yeah, was thinking of doing this, just have to wait for the DNS to propagate and I'll setup WordPress, play around with my plugins and I'll be up and running. Hopefully.
Just sucks that I can't really review any paid guides as, yeah, they cost. I don't have that kind of money. But I sure will keep this in mind, might contact you sometime later regarding this
