Default Need your input, Internet issue

I have 60k down and 10up, from COMCAST, everything was running good, for weeks and weeks, now for past few days, I have problem.

When I play other online games, no problem, when i play single WoW account no problem, ones I load up my 5 accounts, and play for about, 10 sometimes 20min I get disconnected from the internet completely. like you pull the damn cable out, I was getting this at least ones or twice a day, now its more often, I'm running wireless router but my comp has hard connection.

any ideas? how to fix that pos problem? anyway to monitor internet connection? i would like to log this ****

It's hard not to fault comcast for your problems. Noted i also cannot prove they are to blame.

Which av/firewall solution are you using on your computer if any? if it's not just windows firewall then that may be the problem.

Some firewalls can block certain types of dhcp traffic and other important routing protocols but those types of firewalls were also meant to be used without a router in place where your pc is directly connected to the modem. Definitely keep the router imo

Also if comcast updated something on they're end perhaps like your modem firmware your router's firmware needs updating to improve stability?

As usual you know where to find me if you want someone to root through your porn and try to fix it lol

this may sounds stupid but what i did I loaded up each toon account 1 2 3 4 and 5, and was getting DCd from the net - than loaded up each account 10-15min apart from each other, to make the story short, seems like when i load up account #5 i get dc, what i did i loaded up, account 1 and 5, and got DC wtf? after 10-15min of play time.

Weird........

I doubt this issue has to do with your wow client(s) however just for curiosity are you running 5 entirely separate wow client folders or all five running from one client folder?

I'm testing everything one by one now, seems like its a problem with either my wireless modem or comcast it self before i open fire @comcast customer service

Reboot your router, and/or return it to factory settings and then reconfigure it. Perhaps the nat translation tables are full and it is using a replacement algorithm based on likeness which is causing the disconnects.

what i did I connected my modem with my comp, without router, same thing.

maybe i should hit that reset button on my cable modem?

i found one of the problems, since i was getting random disconnect, i started checking cables, sure enough, the power cable, where it connect with modem, when you just touch it, power goes off on the modem (lol) the modem is brand spanking new not even month old!!! I did temp fix. -its working now, need to drive to comcast and replace it, (made in china)

still no luck, modem replaced (that fixed small issue with disconnect) can i get DC from the net because of so many toons load up? and too much transfer going through? i could call comcast again, but not sure what to tell them.
