So.. after about 15 wipes, I've decided to give up. But I know this can be done, but there's a lack of actual multibox footage from most bosses. I have virtually no tips on how to do this, since pretty muh all clips of Grobbulus is lol85s just owning him and that's not what I'm doing. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to down this boss, as a 10-boxer at level 80? I've tried lining all toons up in a long line, like this: X--X--X--X----------X--X--X--X <- Healers and DPS ---------------X <- Tank And leave enough space to move all the healers and DPSers forward when the clouds pop up. I've also tried having them stack 2 at a time, like this: XX---XX-------XX---XX <- Healers and DPS -----------X <- Tank Also tried having them all bunched up togheter, and just nuke, move forward, nuke, move forward etc. Half of the tries I even tried to focus on who gets the disease and manually move that toon away from the group and back in once the debuff wears off. Funny thing is, it sounds easy but the diseases are basically 2 at a time since there's so little time between them. The results of every attempt is the clouds rape me. I've gotten him as low as 230K health, once, every other attempt has been a 40-50% wipe. I do use Blood Lust, Mirror Image etc and go ALL out. I'd appreciate any help, the mechanics during this encounter is faaaaaaaaaaaaaail.

Kite him with your tank in a circle around the room. Moving your guys with diseases manually is probably what you'll have to do. I did this fight with 4 eles back in early wrath (hard!)

Can u see all your 10 boxes? What i would recommend is having all your characters spread out, make sure you get DBM on ur lead, and then manually move the target with disease to a new spot every time. If that cant be done, have everyone huggijng grobs back, and just move everyone except that guy out, then regroup. At lvl 80 the whole wing is probably the hardest for multiboxing, since theres alot of movement going on for specific units

I guess I'll just have to keep at it until I beat it. The downside to moving the diseased target manually is that I can't heal my tank while doing so, and by the time the disease wears off another one gets it. New macros for spamhealing the tank while moving diseased targets and just focusing on moving them. I guess. I have to agree that this wing is probably the hardest wing for multiboxing, but there are also bosses that are extremly hard in the other wings. Took me about 10 tries to down heigan, gave up on Maexxna after a couple of tries. :P I'll give it a shot later today, hopefully I'll get it down. Thanks guys.

Okay, I officially give up. I'm about to ragequit this entire game because of this single encounter. I say it can't be done, impossible unless you pull 5-6k+ DPS each toon and just nuke him down before the clouds kill you.

Yeah that encounter was bad enough with 10 players single boxing even. You could possibly try splitting it and bringing another boxer with you

I haven't seen any other boxers on this realm though. I know of one who whispered me in-game but he's playing at level 85 so that's not an option. It's most likely an issue with gear for me, since I don't have the DPS to zerg him down before the clouds overwhelm me. I'll probably just farm the bosses that I can, in Naxx and other raids too, until I have the gear to literally zerg him. With the DPS of 3000-4000 from each toon, I'll probably never be able to pull it off. Maybe when we're all doing 6000 or above. Atleast I have an idea on how to do it once I actually have the proper gear for it.

Remember you can get gear from points too in dalaran.

Yeah, I know, but I'm so tired of farming the 5-mans. :P Usually only do 7 a week for the guild challenges right now. No worries though, I need to level up my PvP team anyways, so that gives me something to do between raid resets.

A little video I found on youtube that may be useful perspective TankSpot's Guide to Grobbulus - YouTube Yeah it's not multiboxing but after several years I found myself needing a little refresher as well
