This is my RAF plan and chain.

Hello Everyone.
This is a combined plan of everything that I have researched and decided to do.

Please advise is their are any gapping holes.

I want to have 5 man teams and I will be boosting from a mage. The mage is currently on Account Y which I gave to a family member about 18 months ago who still plays. So I have decided that I will do a PCT of the mage onto a new account which is called Account A. Once the boosting is complete, I will paid character transfer the mage back.

From my base account A, this mage will be doing all of the boosting. This leaves me with fears that I will have 6 teams of 4 characters on Accounts B, C D and E, but only one mage which I will not have in the end anyway. So I have decided that I will set up my RAF chain like so:

A -> B -> C
A -> D -> E.

This means that if I do 6 teams of four characters in the 90 days, the accounts would look like this:

Chain 1
Account A - 1x Mage
Account B - 6x lvl 60s
Account C - 6x lvl 60s.

Chain 2
Account A - 1x Mage
Account D - 6x lvl 60s.
Account E - 6x lvl 60s.

I then will use the grant levels on C and E to grant to B and D respectively. From 6 level 60, that would give me 180 grants. That means that Account B would then have 9 level 60 and Account D would have 9 level 60s.

Then I would use the grants on account B and account D, to grant 9 level 60s to Account A. Overall, if they have 9 level 60s, that is 450 levels, which would be 225 grants each. Right? Overall that comes to 9 level 60s?

This means that the final team structure would be

Chain 1 and 2
Account A - 1x Mage, 9 x level 60s ( the mage will be transfered back to Account Y)
Account B - 9x lvl 60s
Account C - 6x lvl 60s.
Account D - 9x lvl 60s.
Account E - 6x lvl 60s.


Can someone please confirm that this is correct and there isn't a gaping whole in my plan?
I think this works quite well. Would you change anything? ie.. I am using the grants on all characters as from level 1... that seems wasteful? So maybe I should only do 5 teams instead and level everyone to level 10? Advise?

What continues to be the flaw in your system is that A is boosting and is and will always be over 4 lvls above B & D. This being the case, then B & D will not be able to "grant" levels to A.

Grant a level is based on "2 accounts leveling together and for every 2 lvls the referred account can grant the original account 1 free level." If 1 account is way higher than the other, that's boosting and not leveling together and the grants a levels will not register.

Ah So when I transfer off the Mage how can I make sure that Account A has level 60s? What would you advise?

I understand the flaw now...
Someone else has advised registering Account F also so things cascade the whole way down? How does this work?

Actually Weson, interestingly enough, if A ever gets 4 levels above B, then A will not get 300% XP, but only 100% standard, however, B will continue to get 300%.

That means B will easily catch back up to A, so A will realistically never be higher than 4 levels apart from B, never.

Quick caveat: I'm very certain what I said is true as I specifically remember it myself, however, I'm not 100%. Be sure to get somebody to validate/verify what I said since its only from the best of my memory.

Tim, A is boosting, so I don't actually require 300% on A, I just need to be able to grant all my levels to A.

I can't decide what suits me best and really want someone just to flat out say to me, you should do this chain.

6 Teams to 60 will give you the following avilable level grants:
- C & E will each gain 180 levels that can be granted to B & D
- B & D will each gain 180 + 90 (from C & E)
- therefore A can receive 540 levels (9 level 60s)

while playing A,B,C,D,E;
B->C and D->E will still get 300% XP bonus and as long as you linked accounts A to B and A to D you can grant what you gained from B & C (and half of E and D - cascading) to A.

at the end if you do it right, you should have:
A => 9 lvl 60s
B => 9 lvl 60s
C => 6 lvl 60s
D => 9 lvl 60s
E => 6 lvl 60s

these are my calculations based on my experience from RAF though i don't have the same setup...

Or the double chain like mine?

A way around this issue is to level a group to 30 the normal way (Wouldn't be all that difficult honestly RAF is insane XP) then drop "A" for the booster. Spam your dungeon megalevels until the group hits 60. Then you can "Grant" 15 levels from B and D to A and he will be level 60 as well.

Its certainly not as fast as complete boosting but its still pretty darn fast. Especially since you can boost thru the hell levels.

SO orianthi thinks that my setup is okay, but weson thinks that Account A won't get any levels? I'm confused? Did I misunderstand you?
