| Senior Member | If you have heirlooms, it won't be so bad, the questing revamp has made questing a lot more entertaining. I would only say that if you plan to lvl up, do so to 70 and then wait for 4.3 to drop before going 70-80. This is because they are reducing the amount of XP it requires to lvl through Northrend. Good luck with your group! |

| Using the LFD que always makes it fun and interesting, especially if you have 3 people. Do it, it'll be a blast! |

| I've never used RAF and have leveled a number of teams. It can get tedious (if you do it via questing) in that there will be points where you run out of easy quests and will need to grind out a level with gathering quests. If you run instances, then the only difference is that it might be a bit slower, but not any more tedious IMO. Then again, I rarely ever rush through leveling in WOW. If I was trying to hit a specific target ("I want to get this group to 80 in two weeks") I'd probably shoot myself for not doing RAF after just a day or two. But these days I play maybe an hour a day and I don't care how fast I level, so it's not really an issue. |

| It is all a question of the balance between your personal finances and your time. RAF is definitely superior leveling speed than non-RAF. And RAF now goes to 80th. But RAF will at the least require Classic Warcraft (which is also Burning Crusade now). And likely Wraith of the Lich King too, if you want the accounts to go to 80th. If you have multiple existing accounts, and want several new teams... You'd probably keep three of your five, and RAF two new ones. That gets you: A (Existing, not linked, Booster) B (Existing) RAF Linked to D (new). C (Existing) RAF Linked to E (new). Then boost BCDE with A. If you want to start on a brand new server... Put all your wealth and heirlooms onto a single toon. You can have "x" gold, but can also transfer a bank full of valuables. Then link (A) Existing, like this: A > B > C A > D > E And use a higher level on "A", to boost BCDE. If you boost four toons on BCDE, and use the cascading granted levels... you have: A Booster + Four Toons + Two Toons = Seven Toons on the new server. B Four Toons + Two Toons = Six Toons on the new server. C Four Toons = Four toons on the new server. D Four Toons + Two Toons = Six Toons on the new server. E Four Toons = Four toons on the new server. A lot of options. Ultimately, it is the choice of current cash vs time or the value of that cash per hour. Heirlooms, Rested Experience and Guild Experience, etc.. will stack with each other, but not with RAF (which is far superior). The benefits of heirlooms is mostly having gear that scales with you, and remains good (but rarely the best) at every level. |
