Multiboxing Shamans just got stronger? Huge buff inc?

Fire Nova has been redesigned and decoupled from shaman Fire totems. Instead, it now pulses the Fire Nova effect from each target that is afflicted by the shaman's own Flame Shock debuff. It now damages all enemies except the target hit by Flame Shock. The ability's cooldown has been reduced to 4 seconds, down from 10.

So basically if you flame shock somebody, it now does AOE damage to all targets around this person, and flame shock now has a tiny 4 second cooldown.

This sounds like a huge buff, both in instances as well as PVP, especially large scale PVP as well as PVP around flag objectives.

Seems like this could be a huuuge buff coming up in the next patch.

Also, Earthquake no longer is channeled, and can essentially be chain casted.

It sounds like a very nice buff, and also fixes one of the big problems with shamans ranged aoe. Just hope they don't lower the duration with the lowering of the cooldown.

They're both large buffs, and welcome for a PvE shammy team.

Welcome too, for a PvP Shammy.
But in the current state of the game, the Elemental Shammy is at the bottom end of the casters, in PvP.
Fairly comparable to Boomkin in power, and behind everything else.
