I am trying to multibox Runes of Magic. I found a post where the admin ok'd it. I am having problems settting up pwnboxer to open the games, it wants to start the launcher so it doesn't start correctly and the keys won't broadcast when you open them manually through the program. I seen where you had an interest in runes of magic a while back Tim. Just wondering if you tried it out or if you could help me get things started. I 5 box WoW right now but I need a change for a while and I have a friend that plays RoM and it looks kinda fun. It looks like they took the best of WoW, UO, and D&DO to make RoM. Anyway any help would be great.

I'm really interested in this as well. I actually spoke with one of the executives over at Frogster (the company behind Runes of Magic) and they were very interested in multiboxing. Can you run the game directly or do they require a launcher?

You have to go through the launcher to play but when I enter the game path in the box then it grays out the rest of the options on the page. Of course there wouldn't be any battlenet account info but should be able to edit the rest of the info in that section but you can't. Also I have it configured for 3 windows to bring up on 2 monitors and it only brings up one launcher on monitor 1 then stops. When I manually bring up the other two then the key broadcasting doesn't work. I see that ISboxer has their system to work with Runes of Magic cuz I seen the video tutorial on how to set it up on youtube and it was working but they had to make an ISboxer addon to install from curse because some of the /follow, /assist etc commands are missing in their macros. You would have to download the game and see for yourself what isn't working. I just love multiboxing with pwnboxer so I don't care what game it is that I box on, it's just that free to play games are alot cheaper to box 5 accounts on and Runes of Magic is one of the better ones I've seen.

Try using the "Advanced" area in Pwnboxer, and enter in the final RoM program inside there. Then start up RoM how you normally do, and when they are started, THEN hit "Start all games" in Pwnboxer. I've never tried RoM, but that method works with any normal game with Pwnboxer. It even works with non-games, anything that is standard DirectX.

You don't have to run it as Admin, you just need to make sure your windows account is an admin.

yeah but I can't run pwnboxer at all now. I am copy and pasting the registration code right from the email so I know that's not it. I"m not sure what else it could be but it keeps saying my registration number or computer id is not correct. Also the name is exactly as in the email. I can't remember if I bought this new computer before or after pwnboxer but I have been running it fine up till now when I tried to run pwnboxer as admin now it comes up every time I try to run the program and it says it's wrong info.

Yea if you switch between normal and run-as Admin, it can prompt a new code to be entered. So do this: Make sure you are an admin user, do not do run-as admin. The put in your reg code and hit register. If that says it failed, click the rebind. If for some reason you can't get the rebind to work, email me a screenshot of what you are entering or PM me it. Typically people are putting in the information incorrect which I can see from the image.

Yep that worked thanks! *heavy sigh of relief*. Now I will try and set up pwnboxer to run Runes of Magic. So your saying to enter the game path where it asks then go into advanced and enter the client file name? That is the only application file I can see that will start the game.

I haven't run RoM myself, so I don't know the game name, but I hear you have to go through a launcher, correct? So first make sure that RoM allows itself to be launched more than once on a single machine. Can you verify that first?
