Multiboxing FFXI ... anyone have ideas ?

Ahh maybe it does try to look for the window to be active, however, that still seems weird since all the normal letters work. Could you also try to type numbers? Thinks like @#@#%)^(*@#$^ as well? If so, is there anything in the game that would open up with something like F12, F5? How about CTRL+F5 and such?

honestly right now i dont even remember what i said 10 min ago .. hehe
if you could repeat me that last line would be nice ..
and let's give a try and see if i can input symbols

as so far i know Escape,ctrl,alt,tab,enter doesnt work on "inactive" window

strangely tho .. Backspace & Shift DOES work on both at once. (only when typing a text coz i can't see otherwise)

The (F1-F6) are used to target party members (u included)
(F7) is another target self
(F8) a target nearest NPC or Mob
(F9-F12) if i remember are ending to null (no option)

o yea, something i might have forgot to say, pressing CTRL+1 on active window only broadcast 1 to the other , making him say 1 if i could broadcast enter.
