| I know you can have different layouts for various situations, such as: Solo, Party, 10-Man Raid, 25-Man Raid, Battleground etc... I've set the same options (my custom set up) to occur in all situations. Not sure that you can have say 40 pixel wide bars in one situation (just your party) and 20 pixel wide bars in another (a 40-man raid/battleground). It would be nice if you could set up different versions like that. Not sure if you can. I played around with the Clique settings for quite a while. Found something, where various clicks would only apply to specific windows, because I wanted to right click on a target frame and not have it attempt a heal. Not sure the exact setting, since I'm not in game at the moment... and don't have the accounts active yet. I don't mind a fair amount of memory usage, for an interface. A smaller amount is a good thing, as more people can use it. Just thinking the average boxer, if there is such a thing... probably has sufficient ram. We generally suggest a minimum of 1GB for the operating system, plus 1GB for each instance of the game. For a 5-boxer, that is a minimum of 6GB of ram, but most of the systems that can box now have at least 8GB of ram. If someone was using a Q6600 system, which is rather outdated for the current game requirements... it is quite likely they have 8GB of ram. A newer system with triple channel ram, might have 6GB of ram... but more likely a boxer would go with 12GB. Anyway, assuming as little as 6GB... you have quite a bit of ram to spare. A set of addons that adds up to 200MB per client... should be fine for the average boxer. |

| Senior Member | I might see if I can apply those settings to clique to work on pitbull raid/group frames only... will have to see. As far as memory goes, you're very right, but also to take into consideration that the amount of memory your addons use will also affect your load screen times. The system has to load more information when it loads between screens, because it has to reload the interface. This is one of the main reasons I like to keep it low. Granted that a lot of boxers use SSDs, and that makes the load times a LOT better, but I don't so I keep my addons low. Either way, it's a good thing to keep them as low as possible!

| I wouldn't worry about memory at all with mods. RAM is never the limiting factor anymore, especially since a "fat" UI is only 100-ish megs. Go for a featureful UI, worry bout memory later |

| Senior Member | Well, for this part I'll just do the visual side of it, which I think is going to come to around 5-8mb anyway! Once you guys put all your auction mods, etc into it, that's when the memory will start ramping up! :P

| Senior Member | I'VE FINISHED!!! ..... I think.... I always build the interface, think I'm done... play for a day and realise something is missing... but either way, for the most part it's all done and finished. Here's the link to where you can download it (the link may not work right away, only just uploaded it): WoWInterface Here's a few screenshots of the finished product: ![]() ![]() ![]() If you end up using it or trying it first... make sure to backup your Interface and WTF folders from the WoW directory. And just generally follow the instructions I've got on the WoWInterface page. Second, Pleeeeease tell me what you think and if there's any changes you'd like made to it. Last thing... You will need to move the chat frame yourself, it usually doesn't move to the right position by itself. ENJOY!

| Is there a list of the addons you have opted to use? Consider the addon, "Move Anything". Purely because, in addition to moving anything you can also hide anything. I notice in each of the screenshots, towards the upper left of the window there is the Blizzard raid frame thing. I've hidden that, so it is not visible/interactive on my screens. Not sure if you'd want to add that or not, as anyone can do that kind of thing on their own too. |

| I just use TukUI, with my personal twist to the player/target portrait. Additional addons that doesn't really help, I just find uselses. I have Jamba, Vuhdo, MSBT if I want to see party/raid damage. The only thing I really miss is the ability to see party and raid members cast bars. I've been trying to code it into TukUI somehow, but I can't seem to get it to work - maybe I just suck at LUA to much heh. I like to keep it very clean and very simple. :P Since this screenshot is a 1920x1080 one, I'll just link it instead of posting a gigantic picture. WoWScrnShot_121111_004200.jpg |
