More XP On Hard Mode?

Hey Guys,

If im running my low levels through Stockades on a 5 man Heroic mode do I get more XP for my guys?

1. There is no such thing as Heroic Stockades

2. XP per kill is based on a formula that takes into account the levels of all toons in the group compared to that of the mob killed. Having an 80 in the group when the mob is lvl 20 nerfs the XP big time.

Two points, TMM hit both.

For Outland (Burning Crusade) and Northrend (Lich King) dungeons, there is a normal and a heroic mode. For previous content, there is only the one mode, so the heroic setting doesn't make a difference. Heroics get you a lot more experience then the normal versions, but that's because you are killing 70th (or 80th) elites as the trash instead of say 63's or 73's.



In a party of five toons, you might get 100 experience per toon, if they're all level 20. Put four level 20 toons into the group, with a level 80, and the experience drops to say 5 per kill.

If a party of 5 level 20's can handle 6-7 mobs at once, but the level 80 can handle 80-100 at once, and it takes about the same amount of time to kill 6-7 mobs with 5x 20's or 80-100 mobs with 1x 80th... then despite getting reduced experience per kill, you're killing so much faster and earning greater experience per hour.

Basically plant the lowbies at the zone in, and gather up a whole bunch of mobs and kill them close enough that the lowbies get experience for the kills. This is called boosting. It is the fastest way to level, and is used especially during RAF where there is bonus experience for kills.

was this for real?

anyway go SM u can get in there at 20 the thing to do when powerleveling is the "clones or person be leveled" under level of the dungon so for stockads you would enter at 15 and you be be moveing on to the next dungon just before 20
