| Just a thought as i start doing ramparts i was wondering about dropping one of my druids and boosting as this would obviously be faster and what would be best i have dk or pally both level 80 which would go best with the 4 druids if that is a good idea? |

| An 80 DK or Pally, either way, can boost to 70 or so quite well. If either is more geared then the other, then that will likely be the better option. If they're equally geared, I'd go with the Paladin personally. An 80 of either toon will have no issues in Ramparts, Blood Furnace, Underbog, Sethekk, and then Steamvault. Chances are though, once the toons hit 68th, they'll level faster in Northrend questing then they will being boosted in a dungeon.

| Why not? If you are still getting benefits from raf, I would level as many teams as you could to 60. This way, you'll have more options on what to play if you decide to try something else

| If you're still in the RAF stage, I'd get as many combinations as possible to 60th. Even if you only use some of the teams for tradeskill purposes initially, they'll be there down the road when you decide a given composition will be fun to play. More options is good. During RAF, I did: - Druids - Shamans - Hunters - Priests Since RAF, I've done: - Mixed Team - Death Knights - Warlocks (on-hold, in progress) Have been tempted to do: - Paladins - Mages Could have easily done everything to 60th during RAF. And it would have been a lot less time then leveling several teams to 60th after RAF. At the moment, I have 34 toons who are 68th or higher and who have maximum Alchemy, for the daily transmute. In Cataclysm, you'll need to be 75 instead of 65 for maximum skill cap, and will still want Transmute Specialization (at 68th). It will be around 500-1000g (per team of five) for 5 minutes (or so per team), which is passive income far in excess of most other sources of gold. I'm sitting around 350k, having done this in earnest for a few months, and extremely sporadically over the summer. More toons never hurt.

| Ualaa: I am doing 8 60s on each of my five accounts. To get the "passive gold" that you mention from Alchemy, what level do I have to get to them to? Level 68? And then 40 level 60s would be 1k gold per day? Sorry for hijacking. I do this way to often. |

| At the moment, you need level 65 for a 450 skill level. Level 68 allows you to Transmute specialize, which long-term seems to be an extra 15% gems from transmutes. In Cataclysm, we'll need to be level 75 for a 525 skill level. They have also mentioned trade skills will lose specializations, specifically mentioning Leatherworking and Blacksmithing; not sure if this extends to transmute master, elixir master, and potion master specializations of alchemy or not. Four primal mights times forty toons, is a fair bit, especially if it will be lost in a few months. I'm running 34 transmutes a day, and am averaging 1.5k at the moment. The market fluctuates up and down. With new raid content or a new arena season, the gem market goes up. Gems were selling at over 200g a piece earlier in the expansion on my server, but are in the 50-100g range now. In Cataclysm, alchemists will be able to make an ingredient which virtually all high level profession recipes will require. Not sure the ingredient, but even without a jewelcrafter to cut gems that you transmute, that will probably be a very stable source of income on the one transmute. Whatever you make off of it, is passive income. You can do heroics or dailies for additional income if you want.
