mage/warlock

OK so am leveling up 3 hunters 1 priest but am getting Bord sick off them and wonted to add to fun to the group and am stuck on the mage or warlock

av always liked mages was my first wow char and i stop playing it at 70 and move to tanking, now am warlock over the mage but am not sure, anyone got a mage or warlock in there group and why do you like it so much??

pets, Hearthstones, No party Buffs! but got a Imp buff,
fast dps with dots!
cheep mount only 30s!

Mage

Portals,
one pet not very good but its there (frost), Int Buff, food/water, spends a lot of time drinking then a warlock, long casting spells no fast dots,

I've always thought 5 boxing mages would be so kewl. Expecially after seeing Xzin do it. But Tim has shown me that Hunters can hold their own and control the aggro. Which mages can't do. Personally I started out with Hunter then moved to Pally then priest. Relly do prefer the healer perspective of it all. I would do mage in a heart beat, just not sure how well I could handle crowds with them.

Ok am going to do some free levels up to 30 my mains are 35 ill level them to 10 then give them a few free levels am going to make a mage and a warlock and see whats better in sm 40+ they can make portals so changing a few chars about for whatever i need at the time will help a ton

I vote Warlock because of all classes in WoW, I think it is the one most close to the hunter. It has lots of instants (dots), casts, and one helluva pet.

Two locks can be deadly with the right pet, (void) to tank. I think I may give that a try.

ya i added a warlock to the group and love it so far but....... am still having pet probs they just keep running after the mods i pull them back but its to late before you know i have 15 mods on me and bang dead really stressing me out so am going to add a real tank to the group so now am going for warlock/hunter/shaman/pally

Warlock, but I am biased as well my first character I played was a warlock. Raided through BWL with him, until I found my Druid
