| Multiboxing with 1 Prot Pally and 3 Mages, and would like some assistance: 1. How in the heck do you coordinate the Blizzard spell amongst all casters? I just can't get this to work. 2. Can any of you bright lads and lasses offer some tips as to how I should set up my UI - spells, macros, etc(level 28 atm)? I am modeling after Tim's bartender setup, but need help as to what spells are most effective (fire spec). Any help is greatly appreciated.

| Senior Member | ive got no experience with thisbut my guess is to have a macro that sets the mages to a defualt camera angle/distance and then use the broadcasting to position it on all screens, not 100% on how its done as ive never tried it |

| Senior Member | SaveView(index) - Replaces the specified (1-5) predefined camera positions with the current camera position. SetView(index) - Sets camera position to a specified (1-5) predefined camera position. so i guess you would need to save a specific view Idealy Looking forwards, Try and get the same on all characters then in a macro use setview 1 cast blizz then let broadcasting do the rest. There are already 5 Pre difined Angles! so type /script SetView(1-5) to check them out, if you dont like them then use saveview to do so! Providing all your mages were Following a main toon they should all be in near enough the same place, and looking the same direction Hope this helps Last edited by Paul1337noob; 08-17-2009 at 02:55 PM. |

| Thanks for the response....definitely helpful. How would I broadcast the mouse movement? I see broadcast settings for mouse-clicks.

| Hey there, Well I of course use Pwnboxer for this, and I am a supreme pro master commander at multiboxing mage AOE spells. Basically I just use Pwnboxer Method 1, set the key to ] as the hotkey, then I set a Blizzard AOE hotkey to ALT9. Then I just ALT9 + move my mouse about where I want it to be broadcasted, then hit ] Then what proceeds is an utter thing of beauty as shards of ice fall from the sky. |

| sounds good, but I agree with Tim, "shards of ice fall from the sky" frost spec would be better for multiboxing as all of them can build off each others debuffs |

| i reccomend fire spec as i love being a fire spec mage. anyway i 2box and i set up num pad 2 on one guy to cast fireball and the other to cast frostbolt and then switch them on num pad 3. and drop the first five talent points into fire to reduce casting time of fireball. what all this =s is 2 lvl 15 mages casting frostfire bolt about 60 lvls before they actually get it. i know that doesn't help with blizzard but you all were talking about mages so i thought i'd throw that in. haha |
