macro issue - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and Beyond!

Hi guys.

i am using pwnboxer for 2 accts. following the video guides exactly.

I can get the /focus, /follow macro to work.

/assit, /target does not work on 2nd acct. 2nd acct keeps saying have no target.

no addons running, all wow keys to default.

2nd acct will not cast (/cast Frostbolt) says have no target or invalid target.

what am I doing wrong. pwnboxer-all keys broadcasting. tried broadcasting all keys but (asdqwe) for directional. 2nd acct will not target my targets I click on 1st acct. to cast frostbolt or anything anti virus clearing pwnboxer to work.
1st macro (/focus) like video
2nd macro (/focus follow) like bideo
3rd macro (/target focus) next line /follow works
4th macro (/target focus), next line (/assit) then optional /cast frostbolt

2nd acct will not target or says have no target
example: acct 1 clicks target dummy, i hit #3 on acct # 1, I can see it hit the button on acct #2 but wont target the target dummy my main is about to cast frostbolt on. 2nd mage on acct #2 says invalid target or have no target.

So on your second account, you have

/assist MAINTOON

and it still says it does not have a target?

I have two main macros I use in my setup with my 5 boxing team which is comprised of a prot warrior lead and 4 casters as followers.

My following toons all use this macro to establish "focus"

/clearfocus
/focus LEADCHARACTER
/script SetView(4);SetView(4);
/follow focus

The reason I use /clearfocus is because a healers target needs to be reset occasionally to ensure that your healer does not end up just healing itself when casting aoe heals. Since I have a druid healer this seemed to be a common problem with casting wild growth and the same could be said for my dps party members... current target means everything.

If your healer has an existing target when an aoe heal is cast any aoe heals that can use a target to heal in the vicinity of the current target will receive an aoe heal. If that target happens to be your healer instead of your intended aoe heal target your healer will just heal itself instead of your intended target.

I'd discovered that using /clearfocus helped avoid having my healer cast aoe heals on incorrect targets

after using this I can use a macro for a dps rotation which will attack the target of my focus target. Here's one I use for one of my warlocks.

/assist focus
/castsequence reset=15/combat/target Curse of the Elements, Corruption, Bane of Doom, immolate, Conflagrate, Chaos Bolt, Incinerate, Incinerate, incinerate

On acct #1 no macros on action bars 1 -> 12. just regular casts. acct # 2 has these macros #1 /focus (name of toon), macro #2 /follow (name of toon) tried with and with out. #3 macro - /target focus , next line /assit (tried with name of toon and with out), /cast Frostbolt. it says on screen invalid target, or have no target. acct #1 mage hits the target with frostbolt. acct #2 wont do any casting. I tried using the macro by themselves on a target and works fine. just wont target acct # 1 targets

You have your second toon on /assist focus in the dps rotation? That should make him target your target. One other option is just just have /assist [acct1 character name here]

for example.

Acct#2 DPS button macro

Code:

/assist crazyshogun
/castsequence reset=target/12 fireball, fireball, fireball, arcane blast
/use 13
/use 14

There should be no problem with assisting your main character that way, and you will change targets no matter what situation.

Also note, you have spelled "/assit" instead of "/assist" could be a typo in your macro, can you copy and paste it? perhaps thats the reason it won't work.

Thank you for your help.. assit and target works now and acct 2 targets acct 1 now when I copy and paste into macro. I tried to just type the macro exactly as the copy and paste macro and still wont attack acct 1 target. But works with paste.. thank you again.
