LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online) - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and Beyond!

Hi Guys,

I have tried to search these forums (and others). I just wanted to know if this software was working well for LOTRO now? I didn't see any threads where Tim said it was all working. If anyone is using it for LOTRO successfully, please let me know. Thanks for your help.

Pwnboxer will work for any application. It does not recognise programs so it will work with just about anything you want it to.

As long as LOTRO uses key bindings, and you can use /follow macros, you can multibox with Pwnboxer. Enjoy!

I minor note i should place with this.
Some games are very annoying when it comes to controling them with 3rd party software. Age of Conan for example wont let pwnboxer resize it, but all broadcasting works when u just use multiple fullscreens or minimize some games.

I never heared anyone complain about LOTR before, which probably means it works just fine, but if you want, i can download it later today and try it for you, after our livestream

(Unless ofcourse someone can confirm it works just fine!!!)

LOTRO will not accept keys unless it is the active window. Unless pwnboxer works around that, it will probably not work with LOTRO.

Actually it does. WoW does not need to be in the foreground to accept keys (hence why software multiplexers work.)

If LOTRO is not in the foreground, it will not accept keys (even multiboxing). Its just how the client was programmed. For software boxing lotro to work, you need to lock each LOTRO client into the foreground.

O hmm, well either way, Pwnboxer can force foreground before broadcasts.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I found a number of posts discussing the problems with the LOTRO foreground issues, and a bunch of posts where people were going to test it, BUT no one came back and said it worked. I wanted to look on the LOTRO forums, but they are down and being serviced at the moment.

I will dowbnload it after our stream today (spoiler!) and give it a shot with pwnboxer
