Lothar is a pretty crappy server, thinking bout moving my team and need a home...

Okay so I'm realizing now that Lothar is an extremely dead server. I mean extremely dead. I was scanning the AH today while I AFK'd a bit, eventually came back about 1-2 hours after AFKing scanning and whatnot.

I checked the /2 (trade) and guess what? Not a single person said anything for almost 2 hours. Lothar is extremely dead.

So I'm thinking about moving my multiboxing team of 3x Priests, plus picking a new home for my upcoming teams (Might do 1x Pally 4x DK thanks to Ualaa).

Any ideas for what server I should roll on? Back to Blackrock-US Horde? Or something else?

Hey Carbs, somewhere between midnight - 5amish? Hard to say. However, it is like this all the time. I'm always on late night doing my AH thing on my Gobtim, and the trade is always dull. Except often people complaining that I make too much gold


So I'm thinking of going to another server. Blackrock? The guide <BUT MOM IM MULTIBOXING> appears to actually be active on Blackrock. I logged in today and saw like 20-30 people who logged in the past few days.

come to area52 tim it was my home during burning crusade... was and has remained an excellent pve server for many years.

Perks of area52?

1) some of the best challenge minded players in the game call area52 home. Vicarious members from years gone by can still be seen there on occasion. Yes the rogue bow guild that gave the sunwell bow to a rogue.. despite that they're legendary for defeating sunwell pre wrath

One of the top guilds on area52 is currently ranked 504th world wide... I don't need to guess who's behind it.. It's likely old Vicarious membership still up to an epic challenge.
2) area52 is currently top 50 us wide on wowprogress for us realms.
3) primarily a horde server from day 1
4) very solid economy
5) I have characters on a server for once tim decides to move to lol

Thats why, you're used to blackrock which is 'bumpin' 24 hours.

If you log on during prime time 2-10pm you'll see a lot more people

I have a 85 mage I started from 1 on Lothar, as well as 3x Priests around 67. Believe me, the server is dead, very dead, very very dead. I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but it is, the server is dead.

Horde I mean. Alliance is pretty packed on the server. That is why it is medium, the alliance/horde ratio is way more alliance, vs dead horde. Did I mention horde is dead on Lothar?

Tim you should come to Argent Dawn, there was a 5 boxer Ace that used to be here, but he's disappeared, or bliz forced him to rename... again... its a RP server but its more PVE than anything.

its fairly ballanced and the AH is really active.

Oh and BTW, two good sites to check realm status, horde alliance balance, and what each server is in what time zone, are these two sites. Found them a while back when I was looking for a good server, and thats why I choose Argent Dawn, cause it was fairly balanced at the time and it was a high but not full population server too.

Yup that pretty much confirms it, Lothar has 700% alliance over horde, and horde is pretty much completely dead

I think I'll be going to Blackrock, back where it all started.
