Logitech G11

OK bought A G11 because my SAITEK wouldn't work. Now I am trying to broadcast a set of commands using the G keys like /Follow, but it doesn't work. If I set the key to a single key it works. Any ideas?

hmm, i am not sure if you have this added to the keys to broadcast to
when you load pwnboxer next search for key broadcasting, click it and hit add new key
not sure if this will work for you or maybe a misunderstanding

you are trying to broadcast /follow ?

then / f o l w must be set to broadcast

if you bind your lets say G1 key to F (f=ingame keybind for follow macro) then F needs to be set to broadcast

I can bind my keys to say alt1 or f or any such. But any keystrokes in the attached to the g keys are ignored. Example G1=alt1 will work but if I do G1=enter /follow enter then nothing happens. I was hoping to be able to have macros embedded in the G keys other than using a key assigned to a macro.

Other than that I am impressed on the possibilities for easy control.

I looked at the G15 and did not like the key arrangements. The G11 has 18 separate keys and can be 54 keys with 3 modes whereas the G15 had 6 keys with 3 modes. *I guess the LCD looked like useless bells and whistles.

Then there was the G19 for $199 that looked almost like the G15 for $69 and my G11 for $56.

I plan to make stickies with pictures for my keys, because I am an old fart, 52, and forget easily. Now what was I saying lol

Dont use the macro feature of the G-series. It has been tagged as a form of possible automation due to the software's capability (ie delays). As such, you may get banned if Warden picks it up. We've already had one instance of that happening.

Only use the keystroke assigning feature.

i have a g19 comes with its own power supply though :/

Anyway, blizzard does not like people making out of game macros in any form.
In some cases it has lead to a ban (Google "Pause" function)

Its best to just make the macro ingame and use a single key bind

So I need to change my screen name? Dang caps lock is different on this KB and I keep hitting it. So all I need to do is get a matrix of spells/abilities to keys.

Just wait till you remake a diff team(down the road) and make it the old fart team :-P
