Let's write Tim an "About me" section for his stream.

Tim really needs a new "About me" section on his stream page. So, lets write him one. Basically it needs to be an FAQ that includes his specs, what he plays, what he uses, addons, and more.

The first draft:

About Multiboxing.

What is multiboxing?

Multiboxing in terms of gaming is playing multiple copies of a game with one player. In this instance, playing multiple copies of World of Warcraft with one player.

How do you do that?

This stream utilizes a program to broadcast the keystrokes to each instance of World of Warcraft at the same time.

Isn't that against the Blizzard EULA/TOS/TOU/etc.?

Not at all. Blizzard disallows the use of a third-party program that actively interacts with the active memory of the game. All multiboxing software does is tells windows to send a specific keystroke to each WoW game window. In fact, Blizzard supports multiboxers and multiboxing.[link to screenshots]

But multiboxers just do it to cheat.

Again, not at all. Multiboxers play this way for a variety of reasons, but in the end its just to have fun. There is not a single thing a multiboxer can do with 5 accounts that 5 people playing 5 accounts couldn't do as well or better. While multiboxers have superior coordination, they also suffer from a reliance on macros and a single input device.

I can't kill a multiboxer, so it isn't fair.

5-on-1 fights aren't fair. Come at a multiboxer with 5 people and you'll see different results.

You see, Cat doesnt decide the day of whether to stream or not. So she gets to have her schedule all nice and neat. Perhaps you could work with justinTV on some scheduling API.
