| Last night I saw Tim doing a few things in PvP I have yet to pull off. First he was able to quickly change from his Priest to on of his healers as the main. I've attempted this by mapping focus macros to my F1-F5 keys and using Shift+F1-F5 to swap my windows. So to switch my main to my second group member I would hit F2 and then shift+F2. Is there a better way to get a leaderless setup? I attempted to use the same key for window swapping and the macro but it does not work. Secondly, Tim was doing some pretty fancy slave moves. I've figured out how to do the spread out move where they all run a different direction when I press a key, but it appeared as though Tim was turning them and at one point it looked like a circling move. How did he accomplish this, or was I just up too late? |

| Senior Member | Setup opposite movement keys for the same arrows and rotate them. This will allow the 4 hunters to move in different directions and combine it with another key to create the circle.

| Hey there, Yup I do some pretty fancy stuff from time to time. Right now I'm testing out some stuff to make my hunters circle back and strafe a little. But to be honest, its quite often hard, because sending a billion movement keys at once to WoW can sometimes bug it out. But yea basically this is what I do: Main guy: Uses Clear Focus macro to ensure that the focus he once had to the main character (priest) is now gone. Code: /clearfocus Code: /focus OneOfTheHunters So initially, the Priest is the Main, who has a clearmacro, and the alts have the priest as their /focus. Then I hit F11 to swap to hunter2, and CTRL2, which triggers 5 macros, 1 per character, which makes all hunters and priest but hunter2 do a /focus, and it causes the hunter2 to do a clearfocus. As far as the movement keys, this is the fun part ![]() It boils down to remapping the same key to different movement commands on each guy. For example, the UP arrow on my keyboard will make 2 hunters go up, 2 hunters go down. The LEFT arrow makes 2 hunters go right, 2 hunters go left. So if I hold down UP+LEFT, then what will happen is the 4 hunters will establish a 4 point square formation, one top left, one top right, one bottom left, one bottom right, with the priest roughly in middle. I've been experimenting with a few other movement keys, which do those things you may have noticed, where my hunters will spin around almost circular to follow and hit a target. I've been combining funky movement keys with the steady shot macro, and the steady shot will actually auto direct a hunter towards a target, further looking like each hunter is actually magically spinning and facing the target in a very robotic like fashion. So for that instance, it is just creative use of movement keys and the steady shot skill. Hope that helps |
