Default Issues with the windows not resizing anymore.

Hey everyone, this is my first post here *yay* and Ive been multiboxing since July 2010, just wanna make a query as to why my windows wont resize and lose their borders anymore since patch 4.x.x came out?

Running Win7 64bit on a very decent and capable machine, with this only happening recently. I tried running the program as admin and reinstalling it. Also I dont notice the ingame window with which you can toggle Pwnboxer on and off anymore.

Any ideas and info would be greatly appreciated and on a late note; sorry if this has been answered or is posted in the wrong forum

Laters! Deo.

Hey there,

If your windows aren't resizing or borders then it sounds like more of a general windows security issue. Windows has some internal security tables, and maybe somehow a combination of your name, or PB, or something was patched in the OS which removed some security permissions over the control of PB.

Easy way to test and fix a variety of things:

Reboot first (You'd be amazed at what this can fix, silly Windows)
Create a new folder on your desktop, say Pwnboxer 2.
Download the latest PB and extract all the files into that folder
Copy your old PB config file (the .pbcfg one that you would load before) into that folder
Load up WoW by itself without PB, and go into video options, set it to make sure it is windowed mode.
Start up PB, load the config
Make sure windows borders removing is enabled
Go into EXTRAS and make sure the in-game panel is enabled
Hit START ALL GAMES

Off the top of my head its in Pwnboxer's main screen, middle lower left. That or check the green checkbox option area.

Also log into WoW normally, make sure it is using windowed mode, then exit.

So I tried all the methods you listed Tim, but to no avail

I found the option to move remove the borders (silly me for losing it in the first place) but the wow windows are unresponsive still, they wont move to my other monitor nor will their borders go away

Very sorry for the long delay, had to catch up on work and stuff, finally got back to say- I formatted my PC today, only software I've got installed is Win7 32-bit (not 64-bit anymore), drivers and wow and thought with this clean install Pwnboxer would work.

But alas the problem persists. Even though I downloaded a completely fresh copy of wow aswell.

System specs: i7 920 2.66ghz
Radeon 5770 HD
8GB RAM (not that the extra 4gb is of any use since format)
1x 26" Samsung LCD & 1 x 22" Samsung LCD

Screenshot to follow.

Here it is, I cascaded the windows myself, but as the setup suggests: They arent removing borders nor moving across screens. This being a clean windows install with updates disables, firewall(s) disabled and no antivirus to speak of, even UAC turned off... I can't imagine what could be restricting PB>>

Could you please post a link to an image that isn't tiny? It is really hard to see anything in that, its super small.

To make sure it isn't a windows security issue, create a new folder on your desktop (eg PB2), re-download pwnboxer to that, extract ALL files to that folder, make sure your username is an admin on your PC, then run Pwnboxer, re-set up your config, and go to town.
