Default Interesting bandwidth check for my streams

So today I streamed a little over 15 hours, which is actually my daily goal for 1 month (Getting 1x Horde Goblin from 1 to 85, and 1x Alliance Worgen 1 to 85).

So how much bandwidth is that total? Lets see!

15 Hours Streaming in 1 day
5,000kbps stream

Restreaming to other JTV + Other site

5,000kbps +
1,250kbps +
1,400kbps

Total 12,650kbps
* 54,000 seconds (15 hours in a day)
= 683,100,000 kbits
= 85,387,500 kbytes
= 85 Gigabytes in 1 day
= 2,476,237,500 kbytes in 1 month
= 2,476 Gigabytes in 1 month
= ~2.5 TB data usage in 1 month for me to stream to JTV

Whoot!

In addition, for every 100 concurrent JTV viewers watching the stream:

15 Hours Streaming @ 5,000kbps

* 100 users = 500,000kbps
* 54,000 seconds * 29 days
= 783,000,000,000 kbp
= 97,875,000,000 Kbytes
= 97,875,000 Mbytes
= 97,875 Gbytes
= ~97 TB

For every 100 concurrent viewers on JTV, it is roughly 100TB of data transfer a month. That is 800,000,000,000,000 bits/month

LOL How long did you take compiling those numbers to post :P I like it! I would have watched had I not been leveling my Pally/Mage/Mage team. Soon it'll be a Pally/Mage/Mage/Shaman/Warlock team! can't wait

I did the math at the tail end of a 15 hour stream, was pretty tired, almost delusional.

My guy is 64 going to stream today also.

Yea the JTV emails are having a problem, I need to start sending emails from the website

Yea it might have been the one I sent out manually VS the unreliable JTV ones. I think I'm going to send those manual ones out often to give people a heads-up, I just don't want it to be "spammy" if you know what I mean.
