| That seems to happen with IWT, usually have to button mash it. Just make sure you have the target targetted. But yea, mashing IWT is often what has to happen. Keep in mind IWT CTM doesn't move you to the target, it moves you to the target at the time the button was pressed. |

| Anytime your master changes targets... You have one times your latency, before the warcraft server knows what the new target is. The slaves attempt to assist the main, and it is another one times your latency before the server receives the request, and one times your latency before your slaves receive the information. Sure, the 331ms latency is an average latency over the last "x" seconds. But basically it will be between half a second and maybe as much as one and a half seconds (depending on current latency) before the slaves will know what target you're on. IWT/CTM is also movement, which is not instant but not that long. One press should cause IWT all the time, but it doesn't. For interaction with a corpse or an npc quest giver, I'll usually press it once sometimes twice if needed. For combat with a mobile target in PvP, I end up spamming my IWT 2-3 presses per second and continue this rate until I am out of combat. |

| One thing too about IWT/CTM, is I use it intensily paired along with my follow master keystroke. That seems to be key, because follow mode is really close to the same distance that is needed for attacks to occur. If the master is on the front of the mob, follow mode will enable the slaves to attack the back of the mob, thus working perfect. So for me when I would 4x my DKs, I would IWT/CTM and follow mode, and it worked pretty damn good. Really good actually. |

| I've got follow currently active toon, on a mouse button (thumb button 1). I've got IWT, one press to everyone, on its keybind. I've got IWT, only to melee toons on my teams, built into my DPS keys which I spam. And then there is a toggle to enable/disable the built in IWT for melee. I don't use the toggle that often, but thought I would when I made it. But it is there, if I don't want to spam it for some reason. I like to spam on a target until it dies, then Tab and spam another. But once they get a little distance away, manually click a target much closer... so they move back to me as they kill. IWT range is 3x further than follow, which is nice. But I use a lot of Follow the master too. I will often IWT to something. And use slave movement to end the movement, when they're half the way there. And then death grip the target to the DK's, rather than move the rest of the distance. They're a ways from the Pally, which is good. If a rogue opens up on the Pally... I just target it, press IWT/DPS Spam. And 1 second later, after the DK's are running towards Me & the Rogue. Press the Death Grip... to pull the rogue 20 yards away from me. Then either DPS the rogue or back to the initial target. But anyway... IWT and Follow are used in close interaction with each other. |

| IWT is the cheese and CTM is the bread, and together, they make the sandwich! But really, these days multiboxing Melee is really powerful with CTM IWT, and with the DK's death grip, it is almost like being ranged. |

| I've set IS Boxer to send that keybind to all the toons that I've placed into a "melee group", on key press. At least on my three DPS sequences for this team. I've got another mapped key that toggles this behavior on and off, so I can play without the mindless IWT, if I don't want the gnomettes to circle about the target like headless chickens. |

| The most important thing with IWT is to understand exactly why they run in circles. Once you understand that, then you now how to make it never do that. The way IWT works, is that your character will run to and interact with the location of the target at the time of the keypress. Run-aways and circle running exists ONLY because the target and target location have changed and the interaction cannot exist (such as your attack is on GCD, or your swing timer is up and you run too far away to attack which auto stops moving). Your multiboxed software really has nothing to do with IWT/CTM, it is more about your understanding and how you use it. So once you understand that, then you can IWT/CTM like a pro without mindless running. Your best way is going to be this:
So for example, this is how I do it:
If the particular mob is one that runs around like nuts, I can always position my pally close to the mobs and hit my follow key once to prevent any CTM running. So the above way I mentioned makes it pretty flawless for me doing my 4x DKs. Its quick, super easy, has very little keystrokes, and has built-in protection against any bad situation. Also it works perfect regardless if any person or multiple people die. |
