I think I'll bounce between Warcraft and non-MMO type games, but doubt I'll start another MMO.

Too much of an investment into Warcraft, in terms of number of characters at maximum level (for the previous expansion) and a few teams at maximum level for the current expansion.
Most likely, they'll all be max level well before the next expansion comes out.
Have the gold empire, etc.
I get tired of Warcraft, but after taking breaks (sometimes lengthy breaks) the game is fun again.

The only reason I had quit Everquest in favor of Warcraft was because of the sheer number of players who were making the same move and for the same reason.
At that point, EQ was the big game on the block and Warcraft was in the beta phase.
The guides for Ultima Online (I think it was UO) had recently won a court case, where the services they had rendered constituted an actual job and wages were owed... Everquest cut back on the power their guides could do, essentially having them refer everything up to GM's only.
The GM's had the attitute: We're the big game and can provide as ****ty service as we want, and there isn't an alternative...
Close to 200 members of my guild (Excelsior) decided to make the move, along with the majority of the top raiding guilds across all servers.
Between Afterlife and Excelsior, twenty-two real life acquaintances and friends all decided to move.
The vast majority of Mithaniel Marr players (EQ), choose Cenarius (Wow) as their new home.

The Warcraft GM's are always as helpful as they can be.
There is no attitude like that of the Sony/EQ's GM's, who were assholes to their player base for the last two years or so that I participated in that game.

Interesting, yeah i loved first person shooting games and racing games, always, i never ever tried any mmo, to me it was boring, hmm pretty funny how i got hooked up into WoW. It was this one sunny sat morning when i was actually bored out of my mind, and thinking, Hmmm Lets find an MMO game, WoW popped right away in google, I clicked on it, it was right after Beta few weeks! I went thru many stores and i coulnt GET 1 copy of wow, So I did order from ebay i paid 60 Bucks for regular wow ) yep 60! the dude at game stop said, blizz stopped making boxes because servers were full.

;] I'm going to still continue playing wow and box maybe put my chars on hold

D3 is really something i want to play 100%

If i'm going to play swotr, I wont invest as much time as i did into WoW

Honestly, i dont see myself playing SWTOR beyond the quests and stuff. To me it feels a lot like an expansion for wow with lightsabers. considering multiboxing will be hard as hell without any macros or addons and the fact that the things i hear about endgame seem like its wow "but easier", i feel like WoW suits me just fine for now :P

That said, theres a ton of good single player games coming out (or recently came out) like some FPS games, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, Batman, D3, Mass effect 3 (march /drooldrool) to keep me busy aswell until Guildwars 2 comes out.

If im going to REALLY get into a new MMO, i put my money on GW2 xD
